Big Bang wins Best New Artist at 24th Japan Gold Disc Awards
Big Bang wins the Rookie Award at the “Gold Disk Awards” in Japan.
On February 24th according to the Recording Industry Association Big Bang was nominated under the “Best 5 New Artists” category. Gold Disk awards were based on the sales of albums from last year.
Big Bang who debuted last year in Japan with their single “My Heaven“, after that “GARA GARA GO!” and lastly ”Koe Wo Kikasete“, rose to fame when all of their singles entered the top 5 spots on the Oricon album chart. After having such an impact in Japan and good reaction from the public, they have won the rookie award.

TVXQ and Big Bang win at Japan Golden Disk Awards!
TVXQ/DBSK/Tohoshinki and Big Bang both won awards at the Japan Golden Disk Awards, which was held on February 24th.
Big Bang won one of “The Best 5 New Artists” awards. Big Bang debuted in Japan in June of last year, when they released their first single, “My Heaven,” shortly after, they followed up with their second single, “Gara Gara Go.” Later on, they released their first album and third single, “Koe wo Kikasete.” Big Bang is definitely gaining popularity and their hard work paid off at the Japan Golden Disk Awards.
In addition, Tohoshinki won the award for “The Best Music Video,” with “All about Dong Bang Shinki season 3.”
But the true winner of the night was none other than Arashi, winning all of the top awards and racking up a total of 10 awards!

#2. You don’t have to try to be sexy. Nothing is more attractive than your natural self, the way you are.
#3.Meet a lot of people, and learn from a lot of people. One of thesepeople, or maybe even all of them will become your role model. Thensome day, you’ll become someone else’s role model too.

#4. When there’s a tough situation, practise running a simulation through your mind. The concept of this CF was ,which had a lot of dance moves so I played a bunch of grooves in mymind before applying them during filming. The dynamic moves that cameout of this CF were thanks to those mental simulations.
#5. Listen to some music. Unfamiliar music at times too. When you can’t think of something, it will give you a brainwave.
#6.The thing that makes guys sexy is passion. Concentrate on what you’redoing. No matter what that may be, there is nothing sexier than thepassion you show in the moments you’re concentrating and focusing onsomething.

#7. The reason I can show a widerange of expressions in photos for the media, whether it be a CF or aphotoshoot, is not practice. The process of completing a still photo iskeeping in step. Keeping in step with the photographer, even with allthe digital equipment in between us. #11.Find the fun. During this filming, we tried doing graffiti and itwasn’t awkward at all. It was really fun and enjoyable. Appearing onvariety shows, challenging myself to try different genres of music,they’re all part of my process of finding ‘fun’.
