[size=13.3333330154419px]Q: Despite the language barrier, you managed to interact really well with the photographer during the photo shoot. Is that due to your character's strength?
A: This is my first time I am having a photo shoot in China for a fashion spread magazine so I’m feeling very honored; I was really ecstatic and looking forward to it when I received the invite! The photographer is really professional and I’m thankful that she said I’m very friendly and easy to communicate with. Her Leica camera actually left a deep impression on me because I always have a great interest in camera equipments. Being an artiste, I did some learning before on the camera angles, structures and knowledge of the equipments.
Q: Your drama had recently ended. Any plans since you had some free time now?
A: Having some free time now, I’ll make sure to exercise 2 hours a day. I like swimming, strength exercises and also saxophone – this is to increase my lungs capacity and also helps in the abdominal breathing. As an actor, we need to learn some musical instruments. I’m still learning how to play guitar. As compared to dancing, I prefer musical instruments. I can also perform them in my fan meetings.
Q: Why don’t you go traveling?
A: I often fly due to filming. But currently, I prefer to just stay at home more than traveling... no, definitely not because I’m afraid of getting swamped by fans!
Q: You worked with actresses like Jo Bo Ah, Im Soo-Hyang, Han Gain etc. Any interesting anecdotes about them during filming/breaks?
A: I had better rapport with male actors during acting but one of my greatest impression is the actresses are really good at drinking. They can hold their liquor seriously well! I can also hold my liquor well if I drink slowly. (sorry... not very sure of the sentence here so I didn’t translate.)Hard liquors, Ginseng wine, these types are too strong for me. Speaking of it, the lead actress of ‘Surplus Princess’ gave me a bottle of bellflower wine as a gift. We said before we shall arrange to have a drink together after the drama ends.

New KBS 2TV drama ‘Unkind Women’ holds prayer ceremony
Upcoming KBS 2TV Wed-Thu drama ‘Unkind Women‘ recently held its prayer ceremony, and the production team has today released photos of cast members like Kim Hye Ja, Chae Si Ra, Jang Mi Hee, Do Ji Won, Lee Ha Na, Lee Soon Jae, Son Chang Min, Park Hyuk Kwon, Kim Ji Suk, Song Jae Rim, and others who were present on the day.
The drama will be directed by Yoo Hyun Ki of ‘Brain’ and ‘My Daughter Seoyoung,’ while Kim In Young will pen the script and had previously wrote for ‘Merry Mary’ and ‘Sisters In Love.’ The strong ensemble cast gathered has also made ‘Unkind Women’ into being one of the most anticipated drama in February 2015.
The drama’s prayer ceremony was held in Icheon, Gyeonggi Province, on February 12th. Song Jae Rim tried to liven up proceedings with his opening speech, before Lee Soon Jae took over and began the prayer ceremony. He was followed by Kim Hye Ja, Chae Si Ra, Do Ji Wn, Kim Ji Suk, Song Jae Rim, and others in order, as they prayed for the drama’s success and smooth filming.
The production team said, “In order to ensure a high level of perfection for the drama, everyone involved have given their best. We hope that it will be a drama that can be enjoyed by everyone, and look forward to catching it on television.”
‘Unkind Women’ will premiere on February 25th through KBS 2TV, following current airing special drama ‘Thank You, My Son.’
Song Jae Rim shows his focus as a kendo master in shirtless stills for upcoming drama 'Unkind Women'
Actor Song Jae Rim will have fans waiting in eager excitement for the premiere of the upcoming KBS 2TV drama 'Unkind Women', thanks to some still cuts released ahead of time!
As mentioned previously, Song Jae Rim will be playing the main male character Lee Lu Oh, a cold and distant kendo master.
In the still cuts released, we see the actor flaunting his broad shoulders as he focuses with intensity during his Kendo practice. This scene was filmed last month and the actor apparently earned praises from the staff for his impeccable kendo moves and focus.
