kalau kita rasa sebuah filem tu sangat tidak logik berlaku dalam kehidupan kita, itu bukan fantasy dan pengarah tidak berjaya memberikan ideology dia kemata kita.
sorry tapi ai tak faham lar statement nih, I mean, if the film is not logical in our life, kalau filem itu kita rasa tidak logik berlaku dlm kehidupan kita...bukan ke film itu bermaksud 'fantasy'? mcm Star Wars, LOTR..bukan ke filem itu dibuat outside of our 'logical' life?
or maksud TT, seperti contoh, filem AVATAR, filem ni secara simple nya about one tribe yg nak rampas hakmilik another tribe, gitu lar kot.. which is 'logical' sbb perkara2 seperti ini mmg sering berlaku dlm kehidupan kita, so even tho AVATAR is a fantasy (made in other world) tapi tema dia masil relevan dgn realiti, macam ni ke? |

kyaa.....excuse my bahasa melayu...hehe...always bermasalah...huhu...what i meant was...kalau kita rasa filem tu tak "menjadi" fantasy dia..mcm kita xleh nak terimalah aspek cgi ke jalan cerita ke...itulah yang membuatkan pengarah gagal menyampaikan ideologi. macam Star Wars atau Harry Potter atau mana filem fantasy yang berjaya, kita rasa logik jalan cerita dia walau ia sebenarnya hanyalah rekaan dan tidak mungkin berlaku pun dalam kehidupan kita. kita boleh adapt cerita itu... |

fantasy skrg ni pun dah ada trend yg lean towards darker elements... mcm Pan's Labyrinths, and the upcoming Alice in Wonderland tu, this one tak tau lar dark ke tak tp nampak mcm ye jek.. I think critics labelled this type as 'adult fantasy' kot.. kalau film macam ni, teori escapism boleh pakai lagi ke in term of why ppl watch these films.. mcm Pan's Labyrinth tu, for me it was a sad and kind of scary jugak lar so I dont think I want to 'escape' and live in that kind of world/situation... |

org yg suka filem fantasi adalah sebab dorang berimaginasi tinggi. Dorang suka sesuatu yg diluar kebiasaan yg x mungkin terjadi di alam nyata. Dgn menonton filem fantasi ni...seolah2 apa yg dorang imaginasikan menjadi nyata. Timbul keseronokan dan kepuasan di situ. |

btw, there are no texts (movies, novels,etc) yang betul2 pure...yg betul2 'reality', yang betul2 xde 'fantasi'...even the history yang kita belajar kat sekolah pun..
the elements of fantasy, utopia and of course lots of intertextuality to other texts/situations pun mmg sentiasa ada... |
