plot altogether are different from each other...

| Sarah Shines as Emerald in Pangarap na Bituin! |  The Pop Princess, Sarah Geronimo, shines once again in the newest musical teleserye that's about to hit town! This September, your Kapamilya brings you "Pangarap na Bituin", and along with Sarah are Jericho Rosales, Rica Peralejo, Maja Salvador, John Arcilla, Sandy Andolong, Cherrie Pie Picache, Rio Locsin and Joel Torre. The show brings us the story of Emerald, who at a young age, lost her parents to a Mayon volcano eruption.
Sarah shares that her character here is rather different from her character in her former soap, "Bituin Walang Ningning. "Si Emerald, tomboyish, brusko, palaban," Sarah says. However, even if Emerald seems a far cry from the soft-spoken Dorina, Sarah's character still has a passion for singing. And this time, Jericho Rosales will also showcase his singing prowess as well, so viewers should really watch out for that.

No doubt, Sarah's steadily climbing the ladder of success. From her humble beginnings, we saw a woman that's born for the stage, shining in sheer talent. From the age of two, Sarah already showed this as she sang "Pasko na Naman" with Pinky Marquez and Richard Reynoso at a mall tour, and from then on, had stints in kiddie shows such as "Pen-pen de Sarapen", "Ang TV" and "NEXT", as well as juggling performances at shopping malls and hotel lounges whenever she had time. She also performed for Pope John Paul II's visit in the country during 1995, and in the same year, became part of "Sang Linggo Na Po Sila's Princess Asia". Soon, opportunity came knocking at her doorstep with Viva Records' "Search For A Star", and the rest, as we all know, is history.
Now that she as taken the country by storm, Sarah hopes that she'll be a successful international artist someday, and eventually finish her studies.

"Pangarap na Bituin" cast members
Pangarap na Bituin tells the story of three siblings known collectively as the Jewel Sisters. Orphaned at a young age, they are separated from each other. Years later, they are reunited and become a singing sensation. However, the desire for fame and sibling rivalry will cause tension among the Gomez sisters.

Pop singer Sarah Geronimo stars in her newest teleserye Pangarap na Bituin. Here, she plays the character of Emerald, an acoustic singer who resides in Boracay with her foster faster. Dubbed as the Jewel Diva, Emerald will be smitten by her childhood sweetheart Terrence.
Sapphire (Rica Peralejo) is the leader of their group and dubbed as the Shining Jewel. She is the eldest among them, pretty and intelligent. She is very happy with the success that they have right now but she becomes wary and jealous of Emerald's rising fame
Sweet, charming Ruby Gomez (Maja Salvador) is called the Sweet Jewel. At the age of 17, she has been through many struggles. After all their hard work, finally her dream is now coming true. |

Aspiring singer Jeffrey Tuazon (Jay-R Siaboc, in photo) has a big crush on Ruby Gomez (Maja Salvador) and has plans of courting her. His mom Alberta Tuazon (Cherry Pie Picache) has promised to allow him to enter showbusiness after he graduates.
Alberta Tuazon (Cherry Pie Picache) is the devoted manager and aunt of Terrence Rodriguez. She manages his career and helped him make his mark in the music industry. She wants Terrence and Emerald to remain as they are梛ust friends
Cocoy Mendoza (Joel Torre) is the adoptive parent of Emerald Gomez. This former singer volunteers for an NGO that operates in the orphanage where Emerald was staying. He decides to adopt her and brings her to Boracay where he teaches Emerald to sing and perform |
