Cicinho rejects Roma reports
Real Madrid full-back Cicinho is happy to stay in Spain and will not move to Roma in January according to his agent.
The right-sided player appears surplus to requirements at the Santiago Bernabeu since the arrival of new coach Fabio Capello.
And some reports in Spain claim that talks have already been held with Roma about a move when the January transfer window opens.
But his agent Ricardo Sartis insists that Cicinho is happy with the Spanish giants and is keen to stay and fight for his place in the team.
"Cicinho is a Real Madrid player and it is not going anywhere," he told Marca.
"He is very happy in Madrid and very motivated to convince Capello that he should be in the team. There is nothing happening with Rome. I can confirm Cicinho wants to succeed in Madrid."
Real Madrid coach Fabio Capello laid into his players at the end of last night's 2-0 defeat at Lyon.
AS says Capello's tirade lasted between 10 and 12 minutes as he blasted his men over the way they conceded the two goals.
A visibly upset Capello barreled into the Real dressing room and asked all hangers on to leave so he could be alone with his team. No player was spared, including Italian defender Fabio Cannavaro, berating them over a lack of concentration.
It's reported Capello hardly drew breath and was as loud in his opening burst through to the final minutes.
"I am not going to sat what I said to my players," Capello later remarked. "After what happened tonight, none of them can be happy."
