buat Sue..jgn tak buat...akak sebelum nih tak suka makan karipap pusing aka pusar nih..sbb cepat muak/berminyak lah rasanya kan..tapi resepi pastry Dewi nih ok je...akak rasa sedap pulak..:bgrin:

k noor karipap tu uli tangan ke?...
saya pun ada orang order karipap dlm 80 biji, esok nak start buat...kali ni nak cuba uli tangan lak..tak nak pakai mesin

sbb buat byk akak guna mixer ..yg penting jgn terlebih uli..

kalau karipap biasa yg akak niaga tuh..mula2 akak guna k beater tuh gaul majerin/tepung..bila dah sebati buh air..uli sat aje..stop

semlm wat karipap pusing tang uli adunan air tuh agak liat/kental klu guna tangan..so akak uli dgn mixer..sat aje dah smooth..senang kije..tangan  pung tak lenguh..:bgrin:

Inai  roll ngan penggelek kayu je crystal...
Karipap ni tak main terap2...masa kita potong dough tu just agak2 sama besar...so nanti bila canai Insya Allah akan sama saiznya

Ingredients
For water dough:

400g plain flour

225ml water mix with 1/4 tsp salt

2 tbsp shortening or margarine

For oil dough:

200g plain flour

150g margarine or shortening-----------> yg ni kurangkan jadi 100-120 gm pun dah ok

For filling:

400g potatoes, cubed and cooked till soft

200g big onions, cubed

3 tbsp curry powder

1 tbsp chilli boh

2 sprigs curry leaves

1 tbsp vegetarian oyster sauce

Salt and sugar to taste

A dash of pepper
Method
To make water dough: Place flour in a mixing bowl. Rub in shortening and add in the water. Knead into a smooth dough.leave aside to rest for 10 minutes. Divide into 24 equal portions.

To make oil dough: Rub shortening or margarine into the flour to form an oily dough. Divide into 24 equal portions.

To combine into pastry: Wrap oil dough inside water dough.(Biarkan 1 jam -ikut stail K.Dewi)

Flatten the dough and roll up. Repeat the process. Cut the rolled-up dough into two. Use a rolling pin to press it flat. Shape into a circle. Add filling and seal the sides. Pinch the edges to form a scallop design. Deep fry puffs in medium hot oil.

To make filling: Heat pan with 2 tbsp oil. Fry all the ingredients till fragrant. Add 1/2 tbsp water and fry till dry. Leave to cool.

kemudian-kmudian le shida buat pasal baru je lepas buat karipap biasa 40 biji untuk makan sendiri.

k noor, semalam saya buat karipap pusing dewi tu kan, uli gunakan tangan...
sampai malam dan ke pagi esoknyer jari jari saya ni masih rasa lenguh...
tapi disebabkan kawan saya ni teringin nak makan karipap pusing, kesiankan dia mengandung...saya gagah kan jugak uli pakai tangan...alhamdulillah..kawan saya ckp karipap pusing tu elok je cantik lepas digoreng

last week shida buat karipap kak noor 40 biji. pakai mesin le jawapnya. tak kose nak leper guna rolling pin.

ff: kak noor, pasal gambar kak noor selalu kena cilok tu, ari tu shida dah kompelin dekat noorzailina nordin yang mengendalikan soal jawap dekat web alaf tu. shida jumpa dia ahad lepas.

a'ah betul..doh air nih liat gitu kan..akak guna mixer aje...tak sampai 10 min dah licin..nasib baik ada mixer kesayangan ku..:bgrin:
