mereka yg terlalu rigid tu, to me tak patut. dah kita pun org melayu kan. haruslah bunyi melayu. i rasa kalau ade sikit2 pun still acceptable .
sbb kalau u seekor kucing , haruskah u pakai topeng sambil melompat2 comel sambil berkata i ni tikus i ni tikus kannnnnnnnnnn. (bila sebut kaannnnn tu kena tiru attitude idolfan giteeew) |

being a silent observer of this cari idol....i was somehow compelled to write a thing or two about what transpired in the results show of the second spectacular.....i noticed that the judges seem to be at different ends of the spectrum when criticizing the contestants this time around...yes, a judge has the right to have his or her own opinion of a contestant's singing capabilities but just by reading all the comments by the four judges, it seems as if the contestants would be having an arduous time trying to discern which criticism should be heeded, if at all. ajami seems to be overtly praising most of the contestants yet, on the other hand, vern doesn't seem to be concerned with the repercussions, if there were to be any, of being conspicuously frank to the contestants and lambasting them with his vicious remarks. the judges, especially vern, do need to be reminded that most of the contestants are only amateurs with timbres that are way below the average timbre suitable for singing....i'm assuming that half or more of these contestants are actually here for the fun...nothing more than that...yes, some will take the judges advices seriously and improve from time to time, but in the end, when all is said and done...a lot of the contestants would say that they were trying their best but it was all in good faith and what's most important was to enjoy it while it lasted...anyway, i also noticed that some judges like kose and alyana commented that some contestants were playing it safe, that they needed to up the ante and show something that was more than safe, yet, vern on the other hand said that contestants should choose a song that was simple and short and sweet, especially if they didn't have the vocal capabilities to sing a vocally challenging song that Anuar or Hazami was capable of singing...point to ponder here, who should the contestants listen to? the other judges or vern, the super-judge who has an array of credentials in the entertainment industry, most importantly being a real manager to ning and also being the main judge in gangstarz before...who oh who should they heed? whatever it is....it was pretty satisfying to see one contestant going tonight... cari idol seems to be getting more and more interesting as it progresses....
