I pun mula2 macam tak confident jugak. Tapi lepas 3 jam kat dalam fridge, filling set nicely dan pastry jadi firm dan tak fragile. Lagi satu sebab I guna loose base pan. Tolak dari bawah je.

chocolate filling

Terima kasih kacip n mclaren for the recipe.
yg kacip tu guna cream cheese, so sama mcm blueberry tart. yg mc laren tu, mmg chocolate ok gak. tp yg saya pernah mkn tu, rupanga mmg padat mcm blueberry cheese tu lah rupanya tapi mmg warnanya chocolate pekat.  takpe saya akan cuba recipe yg diberi ni. tq.

I dah beli tart mould. Order 50 biji online on Wednesday night. Pagi tadi dah sampai rumah...



Nak kena buat project tart hujung minggu ni nampaknya...

Berapa $ satu? I dah kena ban dari beli benda2 gini. Kena beli special rak dulu baru boleh sambung balik projek. My special drawers and pantry dah over loaded.

I bayar $60 for 50 moulds. So they must be $1.20 each. Total campur postage $70.

My kitchen pun memang dah lama sarat. I think sebelum my parents datang ni I nak kena sort out barang dapur yg jarang2 digunakan dan simpan kat dalam shade.

Blueberry Cheese Tart



Ingredients:

Crust:
130g digestive biscuits;crushed
70g ginger cookies; crushed
20g brown sugar
100g butter;melted

Mix together the biscuits crumbs, cookie crumbs, sugar, and melted butter. Press onto the bottom and up the sides of a well greased 9 inch (23 cm) tart pan with removable bottom or springform pan.  If using a springform pan, press the crumb mixture onto the bottom and about one inch (2.54 cm) up the sides of the pan. Cover with plastic wrap and place  in the refrigerator to chill for about 30 minutes while you make the filling.

Filling:
375g cream cheese
150g caster sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 eggs, lightly beaten
1/3 cup Thick Cream
1/2 cup fresh or frozen blueberries (blh guna other berries; nak taruk lebih pun ok)

Method
Preheat oven to 180癈.
Using an electric mixer, beat cream cheese, sugar and vanilla until well combined. Add eggs. Mix well. Stir through cream. Pour mixture into tart shell.
Scatter blueberries over tart, slightly pressing them into filling. Bake for 30 to 35 minutes or until set. Cool to room temperature then place tart in the fridge for at least 4 hours. (I did for 2 hours but better leave longer to have a better crust)
Remove tart off the pan when ready to serve.

Semalam I buat tart shells 60 biji. Resepinya diubah suai dari resepi2 yg ada. Taruk almond ground. Lemak dan rangup....







Shortcrust Dough (Manis)

resepi ni blh dapat 60 biji tart - size mcm kat atas yg ada gambar sudu besar

Bahan2:
400gm plain flour - diayak
100gm ground almond
125gm icing sugar - diayak
250gm butter - dipotong kiub kecil2 supaya senang diramas
1 'B' egg - dipukul skit aje
1 sk vanilla essence

Cara2:

- Campurkan tepung, almond, gula dan butter. Ramas kesemuanya hingga sebati.
- Masukkan telur dan essence. Ramas lagi bagi sebati.
- Bulatkan doh dan bungkus dengan cling wrap. Simpan dalam fridge sekurang2nya sejam.

Selepas sejam atau beberapa jam...bila ready nak buat shell....
- Grease mould dengan butter.
- Preheat oven 180 C.
- Ambik sedikit doh dan bulatkan jadi doh kecil. Macam dalam gambar. Berat dalam 16 -18gm tiap satu.
- Tekankan ke dalam tart mould dengan kedua2 ibu jari. Ratakan bahagian dalam dulu. Then baru tekan dan ratakan doh yg terkeluar kat bahagian yg berlekuk tu. Jangan nipiskan sgt kat lekuk2. Nanti tak cantik.
- Buat dalam 8 biji, cucuk sikit kat dlm tart2 dgn garfu. Pastu susun dalam baking tray dan boleh masuk dalam oven. Masak untuk 12 minit atau golden brown.
- Sementara tunggu tart masak boleh tekan lagi doh dalam mould2 yg ada. Ulang process hingga habis.
- Bila tart masak, sejukkan atas redai dan keluarkan dari mould.
- Boleh digunakan terus atau disimpan dalam bekas kedap udara.

P/s: Taruk filling cuma bila sedia nak dimakan. Kalau taruk filling dan simpan lama nanti tart jad lembik. Tapi kalau tart tak habis dimakan jangan pulak dibuang. Bila jadi lembik, boleh dimasukkan dalam preheated oven 180 C; masak utk10 minit. Rangup semula.

sis, u wat tart shell tu mmg camtu ker...i mean u tak canai dulu ke doh b4 masukkan dlm acuan tu? u wat guna sudu ker? cantik n kemas jer.... pastu cam standard jer semua tart shell u tu...i wat ada yg tebal, ada yg nipis....ish camna u wat? leh la share petua...tq sisi...
