Angelina Jolie Gushes Over Brad Pitt In First TV Interview Together: He’s Always By My Side

In their first televised interview together, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are opening up about their deep, unyielding love for one another. In fact, Angelina explains that her husband is always ‘on her side.’
Angelina Jolie, 40, and her husband of a year, Brad Pitt, 51, are notoriously private, but that’s about to change. The couple will appear in their first joint TV interview together on the Nov. 2 episode of The Today Show, and they are going to reveal more about their relationship than ever before, including how they dealt with Angelina’s double mastectomy. “I knew through the surgeries that he was on my side and that this wasn’t something where I was gonna feel less of a woman, because my husband wasn’t gonna let that happen,” Angelina explains to Today anchor, Tom Brokaw.
Earlier this year, Angelina made the brave decision to get a double mastectomy, as well as get her ovaries removed, in order to minimize her risk of contracting cancer. Brad, being the amazing partner that he is, was by her side through it all. “Support,” Brad said. “Whatever’s got to be done to keep the family together, and keep the family together as long as possible is gonna be done. This was her charge, no question. It’s a scary decision. There’s many things that can go wrong and go many different directions.”
Following Angelina’s surgeries, she published an incredibly powerful oped explaining her choice, and the response was rapturous. “You never know what a reaction is — you have to just make the choices you make in life,” Angelina said. “I made the choices I made because I believed they were right for me.” |

Angelina Jolie Pitt Reveals Her Sons Pax and Maddox’s Surprising New Jobs
Angelina Jolie Pitt and Brad Pitt‘s children are getting an early start in the family business. Their second oldest son, Pax, 11, has a job on the set of Jolie Pitt’s newest movie, First They Killed My Father.
“Pax is doing a lot of the stills,” Jolie Pitt, 40, tells PEOPLE in the magazine’s new issue. “The whole movie is from a child’s point of view.”
Directed and co-written by Jolie Pitt, First They Killed My Father is adapted from a memoir about by Loung Ung about the 1970s genocide in Cambodia by the Khmer Rouge. Jolie-Pitt is filming the movie in Cambodia, where her oldest son Maddox is from.

Maddox, 14, is helping with research for First They Killed My Father. He also worked as a production assistant Jolie Pitt’s most recent movie, By the Sea, her first first onscreen collaboration with husband Pitt in 10 years.
“Every time we had a fight scene or sexual scene he obviously wouldn’t be near us. So he had to work in the parking lot,” Jolie Pitt, who wrote, directed and starred in the movie, says. “But he read the scenes of the day—I didn’t even know! “One day he came up to me and said, ‘Really interesting script, Mom.'”
Jolie Pitt and Pitt, 51, have four other children: Zahara, 10, Shiloh, 9, and twins Knox and Vivienne, 7. |

Could they be any more attractive?
Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie grace the November 2015 cover of Vanity Fair Italia, looking picture-perfect as always.
The couple posed for a series of intimate portraits by photographer Peter Lindbergh. On the cover, the two are seen holding each other in a loving embrace. Jolie wears a simple silk slip while Pitt channels a scruffy James Dean in a plain white tee. (You can see more photos from the shoot at Fashion Gone Rogue.)

In various recent interviews, the couple opened up about working with each other in their new film, "By the Sea."
Jolie, who directed the movie, recalled the awkwardness of shooting sex scenes with her husband in an interview with Entertainment Weekly.
"I’ve done sex scenes before. But this is obviously different," she said. "It’s the strangest thing in the world to be lying naked in a bathtub with an iPad that’s showing you the shot outside, while your husband is at the door and you’re directing him to come in and make love to you."
Meanwhile, Pitt had nothing but wonderful things to say about his "sexy" wife/director.
"The plan was to make something together, with complete autonomy, in the footsteps of Gena [Rowlands] and John [Cassavetes] -- and keep it a family affair. We, by our own admission, were overdue," he told V magazine.
He continued, "If I'm going to work, I want to work with my wife. [It's] surprising how much I enjoy the direction of my wife. She's decisive, incredibly intuitive, knife-sharp, and might I say, sexy at her post. I trust her with my life."

Angelina Jolie looked absolutely dazzling at the world premiere of her new movie, ‘By The Sea.’ She donned a gown that was completely bedazzled in crystals and we are obsessed with it! What did you guys think of her look?

Wow — what a stunning gown! Angelina donned an Atelier Versace dress that was covered in thousands of tiny Swarovski crystals — is that not amazing!? She stole the show in this look and she let it speak for itself, while opting out of any jewelry or accessories.
Angelina has been loving strapless dresses recently and they fit her like a glove. Just the other day in NYC, she rocked a black strapless gown with a sexy thigh-high split and her legs looked amazing.
No matter where Angelina goes, she always looks drop dead gorgeous, so it is no surprise that she looked this good for the premiere of her new movie.
Sorry, but we cannot stop staring at how handsome Brad looked. While Angie was all glammed up in this gown, he was decked out in a tuxedo that fit him to perfection. |
