Kim So-eun trades her usual long, straight locks for a curly mop and a smoky eye in the July issue of Singles.
Insidethe magazine, the interview with Kim talks of the roles she’s taken onas a child actor, as well as her breakout role playing Chae Shi-ra’syounger character in the historical series Iron Empress and, of course,by her popularity as Ga-eul in Boys Before Flowers. In the few monthssince the latter wrapped, Kim So-eun has picked up numerous endorsementdeals for brands like Clean and Clear, Pocari Sweat, and Anycall.
KimSo-eun calls herself “lucky” in her roles, talks about studying hardfor university entrance (which friends told her was unnecessary sinceshe’s famous), and recounts how she earned the nickname of “Runaway” inhigh school because she used to always run away whenever a boy sheliked would appear.
She currently stars in The Man Who Can’t GetMarried, which just began airing yesterday on KBS. The drama pulled ina mere 8% rating on its first day (competitor Queen Seon-deok isholding strong with 27%). Already she is drawing notice for her newrole, which differs from her sweet and innocent Ga-eul character; inThe Man Who Can’t Get Married, she displays a bright, livelypersonality with a hint of slyness. (That’s according to the reviews;haven’t seen it for myself yet. Anybody got comments on the drama?)

30日《第四节课推理领域》工作人员表示，“金素恩中途退出《第四节课推理领域》，新人演员姜素拉（音）代替金素恩扮演主人公。”

金素恩和柳承昊从5月份开始进入了《第四节课推理领域》的拍摄。但金素恩自从开始上演KBS电视剧《不能结婚的男人》后，很难安排两边的拍摄日程不得不放弃其中一个。

Kim Bum’smanagement has did a phone interview on 30th June said, “The rumour ofthem wearing couple rings is ridiculous and absurb. This ring is only asponsored product.”
On the other hand, Kim So Eun’s managementsaid, “Kim Bum and Kim So Eun are only good friends as they are in thesame school. And recently, they did not keep in contact with each otheras they are busy with their own filming. The rumour of them wearingcouple rings is absolutely untrue.”
Currently, Kim So Eun’s newdrama “The Man Who Can’t Get Married” is airing on every Monday andTuesday night via KBS2 TV.
