Goo Hye Sun tears up
On the filming of Discovery of Recitation (a literary program) Goo Hye Sunadmitted to being hurt by the treatment she received because of herbeing an ‘ulzzang star’. She said that she was so thankful of herparents who supported her through the harsh times. She then went ontoread a story from her latest book, “Tango”. She started tearing upafter the reading and the audience cried along with her.
During the filming, Goo Hye Sun also revealed her practice notebookthat she used during her trainee days. The notebook was filled withdetailed notes on what she needed to improve, interviews of the actorsshe looked up to, acting tips, among others.
I’ll admit, I was always skeptic about Goo Hye Sun at first becauseshe seemed like just an ulzzang star. But that changed when I saw fewepisodes of King and I, which showed that she had some real talent. She wasn’t as good in her latest drama Boys Over Flowers, but I know she can act and I’m sure she’ll decide to choose better projects in the future. Hopefully.
