bagusla.....tapi ingat ye.....hotel dia just room base only.....yang penting dia betul2 depan lrt ...senang sangat nak kehulu dan kehilir....kalau nak naik lrt one day ambik one day pass ye - around RM12.00aje......boleh turun naik sampai malam.......from the regent silom, jalan kaki ke patpong aje...ingat ye jangan "terkena" dengan teknik kemut tu.......shopping mesti gi chatchucak.... |

tenkiu..tenkiu..tp tadik nak amik superior room harga THB1100 tak dapat lah..tak tahu naper..so saya kena ambil yg THB1300..tak kisahlah..masih murah.
mitai tukar duit kat sini ke sana? saya ingat nak tukar sikit THB...yg lebihnya ke USD.. |

best cun.. rambang mata gak tengok itu ini.
last march pegi.. tapi tak sempat nak ke pasar apa tu.. chakchuchak ke. sbb pegi weekdays.
pegi chinatown je. dgn pasar yg sampan tu. |

Ooo Sil senyap2 je ye...story arr sket sil stay kat mana..brapa hari pegi? acun pon pi weekday je sbb ikut asben pi exibition cardex kat Queen Sirikit Convention Centre...kalo tgk map yg forumer Tipin tepek tu...bleh agaklah kat mana tempat tu....

i tukar duit kat jalan masjid india...dapat murah sikit....kalau nak beli barang pakai thai batt aje tak payah usd ....masa mitai pergi mitai tukar rm700 lepas tu bawak usd200.....last2 shopping punya banyak guna usd100, masa beli kat shopping compleks mitai pakai credit card......tapi tukar usd kat thai berbaloi jugak...banyak dapat sikit.....jgn lupa beli wacol....murah....hopefully masa u gi ada sale ye...... |

pegi isnin malam. balik jumaat petang.
isnin malam tu stay kat hotel `anda' kalau tak salah. frendly staff2 kat situ. sbb tak ramai org kot. selasa jalan2 kat chinatown. rabu lepak rumah member abah.. nak dekat2 pattaya jugak. khamis tu awal2 pagi pegi market saduak (yg sampan tu). tapi harga mahal sikit rasanya. kena pandai tawar la. khamis petang tu check in kat chalena hotel. rate semalam tak sampai rm100 rasanya. tapi oklah. chalena hotel ni ada 2. satu yg international. kitaorg duduk yg lagi satu tu ehehe. petang2 jalan kaki lalu kat kedai2 tepi tu. jauh la jugak tapi tak sedar. chalena ni kat jalan 65 ke. kitaorg jalan sampai ke jalan 43. balik dah penat, sambil makan strawberry cicah gula ehehe. pagi jumaat tu, sempat lagi redah lagi kedai2 tu. tapi pkl 8 mana byk bukak. cuma kedai gunting rambut je yg bukak awal  |

Just came back from BKK trip ast Wed.
saya biasa ambik meter cab from Level 1 Sukwannaphum airport. Seperti biasa I approached the counter for the destination docket to tell my Hotel downtown. The girl at the desk said THB400 (including Toll & THB50 airport surcharge) I thought that was kinda steep but I assumed she meant maximum. We were going to use the meter anyway, or so I thought.
On the approach to the cab, I heard the porter boy whispered B400 to the driver. We got on the cab, drove off and soon I realised the driver did not turn his meter on. I asked him to turn the meter on but he kept saying someting like 'save me, save me' I wasn't sure what he meant but I insisted he turn the meter on. Lucky the thing didn't drag on, he reluctantly obliged.
He didn't use the expressway as it was not a working day and the traffic was smooth.
When we reached the hotel, it was THB180 on the meter plus THB50 airport surcharge. I gave him THB240 including THB10 tip (I wanted to give him more but was still a bit 'shaken' by the experience)
To be fair, this has never happened to me before both at the old Don Meng or this new place. Is it a new thing I don't know. I used to take it for granted that while in BKK you never had to ask the driver to use the meter. I guess it's still true in town when you hail a cab but at the airport, it pays to confirm (or rather insist) AT THE DESK that the taxi is using the meter.
I will definitely do it the next time.
