u ckp ttg dinner cruise ke? meh babe tlg jawabkan.. ranin from 100-150 rm... beli dkt agency or on da net cheaper than beli dkt port dia terus...

bila u gi mbk kan.. try dkt dia nye food court yg cantik sikit tu...kat situ dia nye desert da best ive tasted in bangkok... sedap sgt n cantik..siap dia org buat pulut for da mango sticky rice tu bentuk love lagi..

n do go to sunlum market... i prefer there rather than chatuchak..sebab chatuchak sesak yg amat n too hot for me.. sunlum tu market malam so sejuk je.. plus kat tgh2 dia ada cam beer garden.. kat situ ada food court.. tomyam dia terbaik.. n ada live music there as well..

aku tak ingat nama tempat teknik k*&&^% tu....kau ni gi ngan lelaki ke pompuan?.....dia kata RM10 aje tapi bila kau dah masuk tempat dia terus jadi RM100...gila kan.....lepas tu semua pompuan sun**& datang lepak ngan kau ramai2 mintak kau bayarkan minuman diaorang...diaorang nak paw lagi...so kena hati2.....yang penting kalau kau dah masuk kedalam tempat tu sebelum kau duduk kau tanya berapa nak tengok show? lepas tu bila nak order minuman kau tanya berapa harga.....kalau dia cakap lebih2 kau chow aje....jgn layan.....itu sebab kalau gi ngan lelaki selamat sikit tempat tu.......

aku turun kat satu tempat aje - Grand Temple - Entrance nak masuk RM25....lepas tu kau kena pakai sopan or else kena pakai pakaian dia, aku malas nak bayar, orang ramai mcm mampus, so aku sewa tot toot RM4.00 bawak aku gi tengok kedai permata, dapat minum free- batu permata murah jugak, lepas tu dia bawak aku gi temple yang tak de orang...senang sikit nak ambik gambar dan tak payah sarung pakaian diaorang, lepas tu round bandar kejap, rasa nak tercabut nyawa aku naik toot toot tu, jalan dahlah besar, kereta kehuluhilr, rasa mcm nak kena langgar, menjerit mcm pompuan sundal malam aku kat tengah jalanraya besar kat situ, cuaca panas ya amat, lepas tu dia antar aku balik kat port - aku naik balik bot.

tak hal stay kat asia hotel..
dh jln smpi ujung dh..
tapi..ada prsn masjid..
takut nk gi..sbb nmpk cam warung2 tepi jln je lua ...

Forumers yg ingat jalan ke restauran ni, tolong confirmkan yer.

Yg I ingat turun jer dari Ratchathewi Station ( ambik exit ke Asia Hotel) tu ambik kanan.

Hotel Bangkok on the map tu Asia Hotel. Kalau dari Asia Hotel tu, Mak Yah dalam dua blok jer. Jalan ke 7 Eleven kemudian jalan terus, cross the street, turn left about 10 meters, dah sampai.

Yes. You're right but forumner yg tak biasa mungkin masih sukar nak imagine/follow this instruction kot... kalau ada map mungkin lebih mudah. On one corner of the big intersection ada car showroom (skoda if I'm not mistaken).

Cross the busy road, the restaurant is on the other side.

Just nak tambah sikit kalau belum ada sesiapa mention....

Other interesting places worth a visit a little bit outside Bangkok are Bangkok Safari - macam a'farmosa Melaka punya concept except bigger. (you need one whole day pergi pagi2 kalau tidak tak sempat tengok semua show dia) Binatang pun banyak rasa macam safari.... I remember the widerbeast ada berpuluh2 perasan mcm dlm National Geographic ler plak...

Bangkok juga ada Wax Muzeum, Rose Garden (tengok gajah, cultural show - ada kick boxing). Ada Cobra park/show.

And of course the floating market at Damnueong Saduak (tapi banyak sangat touristlah we end up taking each others picture tak sengaja...)

just some suggestions... details a bit hazy now... tapi mana2 yg masih ingat boleh gak nak share if anybody interested.

Jim Thompsom House

THE THAI HOUSE
One of the most remarkable and best preserved traditional Thai houses in the country and founded by Mr. Jim Thompson, the American entrepreneur who came to Thailand in the Second World War period and revived the Thai silk industry. Thompson was an avid collector of antiquities and artworks from all over Southeast Asia. His distinguished array is attractively displayed and left much as it was when he mysteriously disappeared in 1967. Unlike many other local museums, this feels like a lived-in home. The House is opposite National Stadium on Rama I Road.

Here are some "small" pics of the Jim's house

Original architectural drawings for the house, prepared by Thompson and his Thai architect.
During construction, carpenters were brought from Ayutthaya to assemble the old structures.

The Jim Thompson House is the home of James H.W. Thompson, a self-made American entrepreneur who was the founder of the world renowned Jim Thompson Thai Silk Company. Thompson's achievements during his 25 year stay in the Kingdom of Thailand have won him much fame as the "Legendary American of Thailand".

For his contribution to the development of the Thai Silk industry, Jim Thompson was awarded the Order of the White Elephant, a decoration bestowed upon foreigners for having rendered exceptional service to Thailand. Thompson's success story in Thailand has become one of the most popular postwar legends of Asia.

In 1967, Jim Thompson went on holiday with friends to the Cameron Highlands in Malaysia. There he set out for a walk in the surrounding jungle but never returned. Thus began the Jim Thompson legend.

Since his disappearance in 1967, little has changed in the home that was the 'talk of the town' and the 'city's most celebrated social center'. Even today, the charming Thai style house continues to be a key stop for visitors to Bangkok.

The house consists of a complex of six traditional Thai-style houses, teak structures that were purchased from several owners and brought to the present location from various parts of Thailand. Construction of the Thai house was completed in 1959.
