a. white alyssum
bOld-fashioned sweet, honey-like fragrance and delicate beauty. This annual flower is worth growing for the lovely honey scent.

Butterflies and bees love this sweet scented flower.

Early-blooming plants blanket the ground with thimble-shaped clusters of pure-white blossoms all season. Low spreading compact plants, 4-6 inches high, and 12-15 inches across, are densely covered with sweetly-scented, white flowers.

Flowers are pure white florets, 1/4 inches wide, in 1-2 inch wide clusters. Leaves are medium green in color. Very free flowering. Perfect for lining walkways, borders, edgings, in rock gardens, between paving stones, and for containers or in window boxes.

a. sedum
b.Sedum is the large stonecrop genus of the Crassulaceae, representing about 400 species of leaf succulents, found throughout the northern hemisphere, varying from annual and creeping herbs to shrubs. The plants have water-storing leaves. The flowers usually have five petals, seldom four or six. There are typically twice as many stamens as petals.

Well known European Sedums are Sedum acre, Sedum album, Sedum dasyphyllum, Sedum reflexum (also known as Sedum rupestre) and Sedum hispanicum.

Many sedums are cultivated as garden plants, due to their interesting and attractive appearance and hardiness. The various species differ in their requirements; some are cold-hardy but do not tolerate heat, some require heat but do not tolerate cold.

Sedum species are used as food plants by the larvae of some Lepidoptera species including Grey Chi. In particular, Sedum spathifolium is the host plant of the endangered San Bruno elfin butterfly of San Mateo County, California.

a) Durian flower

b) Description:
Large tree, reaching 150 feet (46 m), although grafted trees are considerably smaller, with a straight trunk and upright growth.  Leaves are alternate, about 10 inches (25 cm) long and 3 inches (7.5 cm) wide, green and glossy on the adaxial (upper) surface, silvery or bronze colored on the abaxial (underside) surface.  Flowers are perfect, whitish, with a strong odor, in cauliflorous (produced directly on large branches) clusters of 3-30, blooming at night and primarily pollinated by bats.  Fruits are large, from 6-12 inches (15-30 cm) long, with a hard, green, spiny shell.  The shell splits into  five segments when ripe, exposing the creamy whitish, yellowish or pinkish aril which surrounds large seeds.  The aril is very fragrant, and can be overpowering when indoors.  The taste is sweet and spicy, like custard or vanilla ice cream with overtones of spices, onions and banana.

SOALAN  04

a. Pink penta flowers

b.Tepek sket info ttgnya.
Penta is sometimes called "Star flower" because of the star-shape of its brightly colored flowers.
Leaves
Leaves are dark green, lance-shaped, somewhat furry and deeply veined.
Flowers
Penta's seem to produce a never-ending amount of five-petaled flowers. These may be red, white, lavender, purple, or shades of pink. Some are even two-toned. All colors are extremely attractive to butterflies, but the red and dark pink varieties especially delight hummingbirds.
