ok tak klu wat master dlm bidang sosiologi & antropologi.. ada sesapa tak tau mcm mana bidang ni..

aku pon bercita2 nak buat master dalam anthropology, utk suka2 bkn kerja
aku sangat suka seh anthro neh
tapi tunggu lah aku dapat abiskan master dekat utm dulu

tapi dengar2 anthro tak laku dalam malaysia
except kalau nak kerja as lecturer laa kot

kawan-kawan rasa bidang apa yg laku erk..kat malaysia ni...sape2 yang dh ambik Master tu boleh ler kongsi....TQ

well anthro is fun bagi aku laaa
banyak benda kat mesia nih yg boleh dikaji
even lecturer aku kat us dulu pon kaji pasal melatah (as in kenapa orang melayu/indon je melatah...tapi negara lain takde pon)
if not mistaken, yg penulis lagu tuh (azam dungun?) pon buat phd dalam cultural anthropology

SLAB nih biasanya kena jadi tutor/lecturer
sbb nanti masa belajar, yg dapat SLAB nih dapat elaun+gaji

err..nak tumpang tanya la..kalau sekiranya korang diberi pilihan, mana satu korang pilih..nak sambung ambik master ker, nak kena ambik degree dulu??..sbb tgh konpius ni..ada yg advise ambik degree dulu tapi ada yg kata itu buang masa jer..utk pengetahuan korang..yg aku ni tgh study pro. diploma + ngan experience kerja dah boleh ambik master..tapi tu la nak tanya gak pendapat org lain..

ntah la plak pasal tu..tp i try tanya gak ngan lecturer2..still setengah kata ambik degree dulu..setengah lg kata kalau dah ada peluang tu just terus ambik master..emm kalau tak certified oleh JPA..apa kekurangan dan apa kelebihannya..boleh citerkan sikit tak..plzz

Nak tanyer yer...klu course undergrad kt overseas..institusi tuh mesti dpt pengiktirafan JPA kan...klu master n PhD macm mana pulak yer..sbb dengar citer tk payar pengiktirafan/accreditation..???..betul ker...

South Korea Offers Scholarships To 10 Malaysian Students


KUALA LUMPUR, March 25 (Bernama) -- The Government of the Republic of Korea is offering scholarships to 10 Malaysian students to support their undergraduate studies in South Korea.

A statement by the Embassy of the Republic of Korea here today said the scholarships served to promote education exchanges and friendship between Malaysia and South Korea.

The scholarships are for five-year courses, including a one-year course on the Korean language.

Scholarship benefits include roundtrip airfare, monthly allowances of about RM2,500, settlement allowance, repatriation allowance, language training expenses, medical insurance as well as full tuition fees.

Applicants must be under 25 years who have finished or are scheduled to finish a total of 12 years of formal education as of Feb 29 this year.

They should also possess good command of English and be willing to promote amicable relations between Malaysia and the Republic of Korea.

The closing date for applications is April 7. To obtain further information and the application form, please refer to the Korean Embassy in Kuala Lumpur or their website at http://mys.mofat.go.kr/eng/index.jsp).
