It has been reported that Park Shi Hoo has tried to settle with victim “A,” who sued him for sexual assault.

On February 26, TV Chosun reported that Park Shi Hoo tried to settle with victim “A” but to no avail. According to the report, Park Shi Hoo’s representatives offered 100 million KRW (roughly around $92,000 USD) to victim “A.” However, victim “A’s” reps reportedly asked for more than the offered amount and refused to come to an agreement.

We previously reported on some new witness statements by victim “A’s” friend, “B.” Friend “B” claimed that victim “A” had been drugged by Park Shi Hoo and rookie actor “K,” who was also present at the time. However, tests resulted negative in finding any traces of drugs in victim “A’s” body.

On February 25, Park Shi Hoo’s lawyers released an official statement about friend “B’s” remarks. They said, “The interview with ‘B’ is all a set-up by ‘A’s’ reps and it is not true at all.”

Park Shi Hoo’s lawyers continued, “Park Shi Hoo has a low alcohol capacity but that night, he was feeling good so he mixed fruit juice, ice and soju and drank about 10 glasses in 3 hours.”

They stated, “Ms. ‘A’ reported to the police that she lost her consciousness for about 13 hours from when she entered Park Shi Hoo’s home to when she got out. Seeing as how she can remember little details that one doesn’t normally remember, her credibility has fallen.”

“Ms. ‘A’ woke up at around 2PM the next day and returned to her home. This was checked through the CCTV in the elevators,” and “Ms. ‘A’ exchanged texts with ‘K’ the next day to check up on each other,” they emphasized

Park Shi Hoo’s lawyers also spoke about why he didn’t show up for the first two summons. “Park Shi Hoo was willing to state his case to the police but he was in the process of switching legal representation so he lost the chance to go.”

Park Shi Hoo’s next summons date is March 1. If he does not show up, an arrest warrant may be released.

Park Si Hoo’s legal team reveals entire KakaoTalk history between Mr. Kim & ‘A’ from the night of the incident to the day after

After the initial report regarding the new KakaoTalk history that Park Si Hoo‘s legal team has submitted, they have revealed the full message history between Park Si Hoo’s hoobae Mr. Kim and the trainee ‘A‘.

The history includes the conversations that took place leading up to the incident and the ones that follow after. We have seen bits and pieces of the convo before, but Park Si Hoo’s team has now revealed the full transcription.

As mentioned earlier, despite ‘A’ saying that she had cut off contact with ‘K’ and Park Si Hoo after she reported the sexual assault to the police, the history shows otherwise. The conversation takes place even after ‘A’ filed at 21:37 on February 15th.

- February 14th -

According to the content revealed, the day after the incident on February 15th, ‘K’ sent ‘A’ a message at 8:33 PM saying “call me”, and ‘A’ responded on the same day at 11:57 PM saying, “I’m still not feeling all that great (from drinking) maybe because of that.. I couldn’t be pregnant right.”

As the message about the sudden worry of pregnancy comes at 11:57 PM, after ‘A’ had filed her report at 8:37 PM, Park Si Hoo’s legal side pointed out, “‘A’ suddenly worries about pregnancy after she reported him to the police on February 15th around 11 PM, this can be seen as the point where the true intent of ‘A’ comes out.”

‘A’ drops lawsuit against Park Si Hoo and his hoobae

Although it seemed like a long battle in the courts was up ahead for ‘A’ and Park Si Hoo, it’s been revealed that things will actually wrap up as ‘A’ has dropped her suit against the actor, who has followed by dropping his own suit against her.

The reason for why ‘A’ has decided to drop her charges has not been revealed, but according to the prosecution, she has indeed retracted her lawsuit. “On May 9th, ‘A’s lawyers filed papers to drop their suit. For cases of sexual assault, if the suit is dropped, then prosecution no longer has the authority to indict,” said a rep from the prosecution.

The suit against Park Si Hoo’s hoobae, Mr. Kim, has also been dropped as well, so now all that’s left are the counter lawsuits between the actor and his former agency, and ‘A’s friend ‘B’. However according to Park Si Hoo’s reps, they seem to be working towards the direction of dropping those as well.

To recap, this case started a few months back when trainee ‘A’ filed a report against Park Si Hoo and his hoobae for sexual assault. The case then blew up with more names becoming implicated in the mess, like ‘A’s friend ‘B’, and ‘B’s CEO friend ‘C’, and Park Si Hoo’s former agency CEO. The police investigation wrapped up last month, and their findings were forwarded to the prosecution recommending that Park Si Hoo be charged with quasi-rape and battery. Park Si Hoo’s legal team lashed out at the police criticizing them, which eventually led to a civil group suing the actor and his team for leaking ‘A’s info and raising public’s mistrust of the police. However, it seems this case is now settled without the need for court with ‘A’ dropping her charges, and Park Si Hoo doing the same.
