- Nestle has said its sales have suffered this year due to boycotts of companies linked to Israel.
- The Swiss conglomerate, which owns brands including Nescafe and KitKat, has become a major target for the boycott, divestment and sanctions (BDS) movement due to its ownership of Israeli food seller Osem.
- In a trading update on Thursday, Nestle said it has now seen a slowdown in its real internal growth (RIG) metric as a result of “consumer hesitancy towards global brands, linked to geopolitical tension.”
- Nestle’s real internal growth metric measures the volumes of products the Swiss company sells and is viewed as a measure of sales growth outside of any benefits it makes from price hiking.
- The slowdown saw Nestle’s RIG rate fall from 2.2% in the second quarter of this year to 1.3% in the third quarter, even as analysts had expected the metric to increase, Deutsche Bank noted.

Tak semestinya sebab boikot. Pengguna beralih kepada jenama lain. Aku beli kitkat hot choc. Memang tak sedap. Nak kata menyesal beli pun, cukup sekali ni je beli. Mmg dah tak repeat. Tapi range produk nestle gold mmg sedaplah.

Milo naik harga sbb harga koko melambung… produk lain yg berasas koko klu nk remain rasa n kualiti ...
Nestle dah tukar supplier cocoa powder. Drp yang premium gi tukar to local produce konon nak reduce cost, last2 mmg tak sedap lah. Dgn supplier murah tu pun dok delay delivery, last2 supplier cancel contract.
Padan muka kena sourcing & beli yg mahal balik. |
