ha'ah...aku perasan pasal software ni..anak buah aku bising rumah dia torrent tak jalan tapi semalam aku try pakai Thunder ni..boleh je jalan torrent..ada dalam 60kbps..tapi metastabil la...
kalau nak debate hukum moral guna torrent ni..susah nak debate walaupun jawapannya jelas dan nyata yakni haram tapi in the end, kena tanya diri sendirila...just like my friend yang stay kat US, rumah dia ada internet 1.5Mbps tapi tak pernah download torrent..guna untuk surf n sometime lagu-lagu guna limewire..movie semua dia beli sebab kat sana murah..DVD dalm USD20 rasanya..dia kata puas kalau beli..untuk tv series plak memang takde masalah sebab memang semua tv series datang dari US kan...kat sini mana dapat..macam aku suka layan citer Dunia Baru, aku tak download sebab aku boleh tengok kat TV..kalau prison break plak...takkan nak tunggu sampai dia tayang kat Tv plak walhal boleh download..kalau movie plak memang tak pernah belila sebab mahal..tu je... |

excerpt from cnet.com:
"U.S. Magistrate Judge Jacqueline Chooljian issued the decision while presiding over a court fight between the film industry and TorrentSpy, which is accused of copyright infringement in a lawsuit filed last year by the Motion Picture Association of America. Following her decision, Chooljian ordered TorrentSpy to begin logging user information and allowed the company to mask the Internet Protocol addresses belonging to visitors of the Web site. TorrentSpy must then turn the data over to the MPAA. The judge stayed the order pending an appeal, which the company filed on Tuesday. It's not clear when the appeal will be heard."

tindakan mahkamah US mungkin tak boleh diambil pada user malaysia...tapi kalau torrent copyrighted material ni berterusan, tak lama lagi ip malaysia bakal di ban oleh server di US...so no more Yahoo...no more Google...soooooonnnnn!!! |

they may not have the authority to impose the same ruling on users in malaysia. but, they can force their government to press our government to do so. and, i don't think malaysian government will take it lightly as they have so much going on between the two countries.
even if they block ip addresses from malaysia, i don't think it will affect yahoo or google. they are not going to block 100%. they will just filter out the content, what you can or cannot access. similar to what tmnet does to its subscribers who like p2p.

After TorrentSpy and Demonoid, IsoHunt Also Closed. No More Torrent Downloads Soon? - IsoHunt becomes unavailable for the US residents
Thefight against the torrent trackers distributing or boosting illegalmaterial on the Internet is now making new victims. After two topplayers, TorrentSpy and Demonoid, were shut down, IsoHunt also bitesthe dust but only partially. The founder of the technology announcedthat IsoHunt becomes unavailable for the US consumers due to a lawsuit started by Motion Picture Assoc.of America. In case you don't know, MPAA filed a complaint last yearagainst TorrentSpy and IsoHunt, accusing the two services ofdistributing pirated content. As part of the lawsuit, the plaintiffdemanded private information about the users who accessed the twowebsites but both defendants refused to do so straight from thebeginning.
In order to avoid complying with the demands, IsoHunt took the decisionto shut down the website in the United States because as long as thelocal users do not access the page, there is no private informationabout them. However, this is an important hit for IsoHunt as many ofits consumers were US-based.
"As of earlier today, we have disabled access from users in the US toour trackers, until further notice. This goes for ALL trackers we run. This is due to the US's hostility towards P2P technologies, and we feelwith our current lawsuit brought by the MPAA, we can no longer ensureyour security and privacy in the US. So, if you're outside the US, youmay notice less peers," the official page of IsoHunt now states.
What's more important is that this outage is already exploited byseveral malicious users who tried to make some easy cash using IsoHunt.According to the official page of the torrent search engine, somespammers sent numerous emails to the users of the service demanding todonate some money for IsoHunt. "Don't use the link! The page that loadshas some very nasty popups, at least one of which has a malwarepayload. We noticed it because their spam has been bouncing for therecipients that no longer exist, and I'd estimate that they sent out atleast a few thousand of these," the message reads.

Demonoid.com, one of the most popular BitTorrent trackers hasallegedly been taken offline by the Canadian Recording IndustryAssociation (CRIA). Both the tracker and the website have beenunresponsive for nearly 24 hours now.
As of now it is still unsure what exactly happened, but the popular Dutch news site nu.nl reports that the CRIA is responsible for the downtime.
TorrentFreak contacted some of the Demonoidadministrators, but they are not sure what happened either. It iscertainly possible that Demonoid抯 Canadian ISP pulled the plug afterbeing pressured by the CRIA. The ISP said before that they would takeit down if they would receive complaints.
Right now, the Demonoid server is still pinging, but the ISP couldhave firewalled the everything after they received some serious legalthreats. Deimos, the founder and the head admin of the site isunreachable and has not responded yet.
This is not the first time Demonoid suffers major downtime due topressure from the anti-piracy lobby. Demonoid had to move its serversfrom The Netherlands to Canada in June after The Dutch anti-piracyoutfit BREIN filed a subpoena against Demonoid抯 ISP. BREIN had askedthe ISP to take Demonoid offline and hand over the administrator抯personal details, but Demonoid relocated their servers before any harmwas done.
Unfortunately, it now seems that Canada is not the 搒afe haven |
