We all have a superhero inside us, it just takes a bit of magic to bring it out. In Billy Batson’s (Angel) case, by shouting out one word—SHAZAM!—this streetwise 14-year-old foster kid can turn into the adult Super Hero Shazam (Levi), courtesy of an ancient wizard. Still a kid at heart—inside a ripped, godlike body—Shazam revels in this adult version of himself by doing what any teen would do with superpowers: have fun with them! Can he fly? Does he have X-ray vision? Can he shoot lightning out of his hands? Can he skip his social studies test? Shazam sets out to test the limits of his abilities with the joyful recklessness of a child. But he’ll need to master these powers quickly in order to fight the deadly forces of evil controlled by Dr. Thaddeus Sivana (Strong).
A New Line Cinema production, “Shazam!” is set for release on April 5, 2019.

esp both Shazam & Captain Marvel, dua character is a totally new superhero cast
my verdict : best dan kelakar. something refreshing la drpd superhero lain yg macho dan serius. tp hakak rasa movie ni berjaya menyeimbangkan elemen darkness (ditinggalkan makbapak, terpaksa menumpang kasih keluarga angkat, kurang kasih sayang sampai jd villain) dan elemen kelakar dan ceria. penonton dalam wayang akak pun sporting, gelak ramai-ramai sbb lawaknye mmg on point.
sesuai sgt utk tontonan keluarga. selalunye kan kalau dlm movie lain, watak remaja ni dilakonkan oleh org dewasa umur 20an (Tom Holland pun umur dan 22 kot), tp maybe sebab watak bebudak ni mmg dilakonkan oleh bebudak, so nampak la awkwardness diorg sebagai bebudak remaja. Zachary Levi rase mcm annoying gak lakonan die, tp maybe sis terlupa walaupun badan je macam 30an tp sbnrnye die ni baru 14thn je. ah watak darla, comel and positif sangat.
cuma hakak rasa movie ni feel good sangat mcm movie 90an, if you get what i mean. soundtrack die pun kurang meletop. and the colour palette die pun mcm hambar. tp hakak tak pasti la adakah sbb movie ni kuar awal drpd waktu tayangan sebenar, jd mmg tak ditayang kt imax kot. hapepun hakak rs kalau korg nk tgk, which is highly recommended, better tgk kt imax ke.
