Samtan Art Mine has diverse facilities such as art gallery, art experience center, restaurant, cave gallery and accommodation for tourist and artist. This art center supports local artists and makes exhibition for them. Let’s see the main building of Samtan Art Mine Center.
This art center is awarded the winner of public art Korea. It proves this art center is successful public art project that exhausted mine is changed to art center.
These spaces were office and accommodation of miner but local artists actively make these energetic sites with art.
[color=inherit !important]Samtan Art Mine also has super nice restaurant space. This restaurant is located at an altitude of 832 meters. Miners made and fixed machines in this building but now artist changes this building to vintage restaurant. Please kindly note that you should book in advance if you will use this restaurant after 18:00.
