Britney court date cancelled

An appearance in a family court sought by Kevin Federline amid a child custody dispute with Britney Spears was cancelled today as reports surfaced that the pop star was back in rehab.
Spears returned to the Promises Malibu Treatment Center late yesterday, driven there by her mother Lynne, according to reports.
Spears and her estranged husband Federline reportedly agreed last night that he would keep their two young children while Spears was in rehabilitation, a programme that takes between 30 and 45 days.
Superior Court spokesman Allan Parachini said attorney Mark Vincent Kaplan, who represents Federline, had called the court bailiff and asked to cancel the court appearance in Los Angeles. Mr Parachini gave no explanation for the cancellation.
It was not known what issue Federline, 28, had planned to raise.
"Kevin continues to be a very focused father with his children with hands-on management," said a statement from Mr Kaplan. |

Also on Wednesday, a desperate Britney was photographed using an umbrella to hit a car outside the home where her ex, KEVIN FEDERLINE, is reportedly staying. The photos reveal a furious Britney, dressed in white shorts and a hooded sweatshirt, repeatedly striking an SUV with an umbrella.
After reportedly spending 45 minutes outside his residence, Britney's mom picked her up and eventually brought her to the rehab facility.
