Lee Min Ho involved in car accident during “City Hunter” filming + in hospital

Lee Min Ho was recently involved in a car accident on the set of SBS’s “City Hunter“!
On June 13th, a representative for the actor stated, “Today on the 13th at around 3:30 PM, there was an accident involving a partial destruction of a vehicle at a ‘City Hunter‘ filming near a lake in Ilsan. Even though the air bags burst and the front part of the car was completely smashed, Lee Min Ho fortunately did not receive any significant injuries.”
A picture of the accident scene was revealed as well, and it showed the car in which Lee Min Ho rode in was significantly damaged, implying that it could have led to an even more serious situation.
The rep added, “After the accident, Lee Min Ho was transported to a nearby hospital and is currently awaiting the results of his physical examination. The filming has stopped completely and will resume depending on how this situation develops.”
A staff member who was in the car at the time is also being treated at the hospital.
Kim Young Seop CP of “City Hunter” stated, “We will have to see if we can resume filming.”

Lee Min Ho returns to the ‘City Hunter’ set, just a day after his car accidentby VITALSIGN on June 14, 2011 at 12:42 am
It’s only been a day since Lee Min Ho got into a car accident, but the actor is back on set to continue filming for SBS’s “City Hunter“.
A representative revealed, “Despite the severity of the accident on June 13th, Lee Min Ho is back on the film set. The producers advised him to stay home and rest, but he was determined to get back and continue from where he left off.”
He continued, “Lee Min Ho received emergency care and an examination after his accident, and results have shown that he is not injured and that it would be okay for him to return to filming. Producer Hong Chong Chan, who was also involved in the accident, is preparing for his discharge as well.”
The representative went on to explain how the accident came about. “The accident that occurred on the 13th wasn’t from a chase or an action scene, but is part of the one main scenes that will be broadcast on the 16th. It happened while we were filming ‘Yoon Sung’ inside of a speeding car.”

Lee Min Ho becomes a private tutor of Goo Hara in City Hunter
On the 7th episode of SBS’s Wednesday-Thursday drama series City Hunter, Yun Seong, played by Lee Min Ho, became a private tutor of Da Hye, played by Goo Hara. Da Hye has long tried to win Yun Seong’s heart, finally making through with the “private tutor project” designed to employ Yun Seong as her private tutor.
On May 30, the scene of the two sitting together at Da Hye’s desk was recorded at a set in Gyeonggi-do. Unlike Goo who looks happy and excited, Lee was wearing remote, annoying expressions.
It is said that they’ve been working in perfect harmony since the shooting started, so in the shooting that day as well, they successfully created, as planned, a seemingly romantic but humorous scene, causing much of laughter among the shooting crew. Da Hye, a spoiled girl only into Yun Seong, was aggressively all over him instead of focusing on studying such as shooting “love” arrows with her fingers toward him. Aware of the eyes of Na Na, a bodyguard of Da Hye always standing by her, played by Park Min Young, Yun Seong kept himself as a strict private tutor, giving Da Hye clouts with his fingers whenever she looks distracted.
The upcoming scenes of the two is expected to provide lots of titillating fun for viewers, accompanied with Lee’s natural comic act and Goo’s prickly cuteness.
The production team says, “It must be viewed as one of the best scenes thanks to not only Lee’s fluent performance showing both comic and sincere traits, but also Goo’s natural acting ability which is hardly to be believed as the result of her first attempt to act. The two actors’ passion to play and create the real, natural characters, I believe, helps the shooting conducted smooth. You can expect the more interesting episodes of City Hunter to follow.”
On the June 15 episode, Yun Seong and Na Na happened to live together under the same roof, so their romantic relationship is likely to be developed at high speed.
