The Beast members are the soloist AJ but now is known as Lee Ki Kwang (1989)(1990)and Yoon Doo Joon, Jang Hyun Seung, Yong Jun Hyung also born 1989. Theother younger Beast members are Yang Yo Seob (1990) and Son Dong Woon(1991) They make up the six member group.
They each spent yearsas trainees until they worked with a group. Despite the frustration ofworkin at a young age they are doing excellent and survived life as atrainee. Two of the members could have been in Big Bang or 2pm but nowthey are together they are getting so much attention all of Asia. TheseIdols have good fortune.
"After practicing for 4-5 years in thecompany I always wanted to debut. Honestly this hasn't hit me yet" (YoSeob). Now we're getting interviewed, I can't get over the shock ofdebuting."(Doo Joon).
Yoon Doo Joon used to MC on a popular SBSshow and was supposed to be in the band 2pm. Jang Hyun Seung was goingto be a member of Big Bang but unfortunetly was dropped from the band.
"It'sbeen two weeks since we debuted, its hard but still fun. We've beenvery busy and have little practice time, its hard to get sleep too."
BecauseBeast is already so popular they have a name for their fan club. "Ourfan club's name is Beauty like Beauty and the Beast, haha."
Beast'ssong 'Bad Girl' is as popular as 'Hot Issue' or 'Muzik'. The producersthat participated in their album are, Kang Ji-Won, Kim Kibum, HwangSung, Choi Sung Joon. And anyone else the helped Beast make their albumremarkable.

Yoon Doo Joon (1989.07.04) - Leader. Also known as the comedian of the group and Gong Yoo look-a-like.
Q: Kong Yoo look-a-like, pretty interesting nickname there.
"People say I look like him when they get a glimpse of me. But youreally have to just get a glimpse of me, because if you stare at me fortoo long then I'll just look like me."
Q: You seem like a funny guy.
"Team members say I'm funny but really, my jokes are jokes meant forthe members. It is not like it involves things I can't say in publicbut I just can't say them outside of our dorm."
(Members called him out and said "He says a lot of stuff that he wouldn't be able to say on TV" - in a very criticizing manner.)
Q: How is your real personality like (as opposed to your public image)?
"People say I'm a stereotypical blood type-A (note: people with theblood type A are said to be shy, quiet, careful and introvert) person.Not sure about that, but I'm really good at memorizing impressions ofpeople. For example, I remember exactly that BEAST members met for thefirst time on October 1st 2007 and I even remember what they werewearing or what they said."
Q: You showed some impressive piano skills on the Showcase.
"I taught myself so I can't say I'm very good. When I used to go tosinging classes there was a piano there, and I learned it by learningbits and pieces from many different people. I was able to play the songI played on Showcase only because I practiced that one song for areally long time."
(But his team members say that he is actually pretty good.)
Jang Hyun Seung (1989.09.03) - Known for his lovely eyes, odd nickname "Lancho" and failure at becoming a member of Big Bang.
Q: How did you get your nickname?
"Has no meaning to it, to be honest. I called myself "Lan Seung" forjokes and someone started calling me "Lancho" and that stuck. I thoughtto myself, who the hell would call me that? But now the fans do, and Ifind that quite surprising."
Q: You look like a Japanese idol.
"People say that I look like Ryohei of W-inds. Probably the hair style, but not sure if we really do look alike."
Q: Fans say that you have the "eyes that melt my heart". Did you know?
"No, first time I've heard of that. Thanks for thinking as such."
(Doo Joon says "Must be because his eyes are big, clean and pure-looking like that of a deer.")
Q: You look like a very blunt person. What is your real personality like?
"When I'm quiet, I'm quiet. When I'm fooling around, I can cause a havoc. I'm not the type who leads anything though."
(Team members commented that Hyun Seung is the most interpersonal member of BEAST.)
