Yeah... biasanya design kad cam biasa... but kalau boleh, think out of box gitu... fikir design yg lain dari lain... maybe buat kad yg besi (tahun lepas aku buat yg kayu/besi)... also boleh try buat kad yg fold-out type. Macam2 lagi... Ni aku nyer dari tahun lepas:

Yeah, learning curve untuk Illustrator tu agak tinggi... but takpe...slow2 akan dapat gak.
Buat masa ni, I'll give you 1 tip - Kat Illustrator tu, paling best is bila guna OpenType fonts (yang icon dia ada 'O' instead of 'TT' tu). Most OpenType fonts ada variations - bawah ni example huruf 'A' dan 'a' guna font Whomp:
Highlight single (or multiple) alphabets and kat OpenType tab dialog tu, you can choose between options kat dalam kotak merah tu. Try lah ngan OpenType fonts yg ada variations.
Also bila dah puas hati, before you bring into Photoshop, convert to outline first (PS akan kill semua variations tu kalau copy terus ke PS). Select text/words tersebut, gi kat menu... TYPE > CREATE OUTLINE.
Then baru copy and paste kat PS (I usually select 'PIXELS' when I paste).
Have fun!
PS. Kat dialog atas tu, kalau pilih CHARACTER tab, you can also 'modify' things like space between letters, lines etc. |

Aha... tak sesimple ps mod..tapi really really interesting sbb mmg complement ps betul2 kan ...semua yg lawa2 mcm curvy shape,vector swirl florals dan macam2 lagi baru tahu designer guna ai buat then export ke ps kan ..
tak pe not in hurry ..jadi selow2 belajar...

Actually kalau nak buat terus in Illustrator and then save as JPG, PNG etc pun boleh. Pilih option SAVE FOR WEB (CTRL + SHIFT + ALT + S). But yeah, text effect, shapes etc memang power kat Illustrator - kalau PS. |
