Accordingto Lian He Bao, Qin Statue, an over 160-million? tv drama project,which will be produced/organized by Li Bi Hua, a famous writer in HK.(The original author of Qin Statue was also Li Bi Hua) Yan Cheng Xu hasbeen offered to play the role of Meng Tian Fang, a general in the QinDynasty. As this will be Yan Cheng Xu's first ancient role, there isrumor that his talent fee is close to US$20,000 per episode.
QinStatue is planned to start filming in October. According to theproduction company, Yan Cheng Xu has expressed his desire for the role.However, Yan Cheng Xu's agent, Chang Mao Liang, indicates that YanCheng Xu has received quite a number of offers/scripts, so it is notconfirmed which one he will play.
