Majo Saiban fan event
Ikuta Toma appeared the other day at a ‘Majo Saiban’ fan event and interacted with the fans. ‘魔女裁判 / Majo Saiban (lit. Witch Trial)’ is an ongoing popular TV drama series in which Ikuta Toma plays the lead role.
While taking time out between takes at the studio, Toma sent the following message to his fans!
“I’ve just come back from the ‘Majo Saiban’ fan event.
An overwhelming number of people applied for a chance to participate in the event. We were happy to see that a lot of people managed to come even though the event was on a Sunday. Thank you so much.
I enjoyed announcing the ‘Best Scene in ‘Majo Saiban’ Ranking’, and was delighted to see how everybody helped us out to celebrate Kaori’s birthday.
Thank you for everything.
I hope everyone will continue to enjoy the drama.
The people who unfortunately couldn’t come, I will appreciate it if you too will do the same.
Well, I’ve got to go back to the studio.
Ciao!”
The ‘Kaori’ that appeared in the message is the name of a character that appears in the drama. She is played by Higa Manami, and is the girlfriend of Toru, the role played by Toma. Viewers were both charmed and a bit excited to see the couple so close together on screen. The drama will reach its climax this week! What will happen to Toru and Kaori, who are both tormented by the newly enacted Jury system? What will become of the ‘Witch’ Kyoko!?
