I upkan thread ni coz nak tanya fairyjasmine or sapa2 yg tau..

I planned to go to Italy & Switzerland this coming Nov.. plannya nak landing kat Rome and naik ke atas thru Florence, Milan etc and balik ikut Zurich.. my question is, macamana nak naik train dr satu tempat ke satu tempat tu.. lagi save beli railpass ke? pass tu boleh beli kat Rome ke?

neway ada 1 question. nape nak kene beli eurail? perlu ke nak naik first class coach? kalo travel tanpa eurail tp naik coach kelas murah tak lebih jimat ke?

Eurail is not a first class coach. Kalau nak naik first class tu macam TGV and others. Eurail ni kira the cheapest way of travelling within the Europian Countries
by train. Let say you nak pergi 2-3 countries, so U belilah eurail pass where you can travel unlimited journey tapi must be within the determine zone and also period let say,  2-3 weeks.

eurail pass tu boleh beli first class atau 2nd class...normally kalau ambik yg single, atau berdua, dpt eurial pas utk first class...duduk first class la selesa skit, dan lebih selamat sebab ada room dan penumpang fisrt class ni selalu nya behave baik2 la....kalau 2nd class kadang2 pasaanger yg lain pun mcm mcm jenis org ada, ada yg jenis  pelik2 dan intimidating skit tu yg tak best tuh...
but keep in mind that, certain train like TGV, walaupun kau dah ada Eurail pass, tp still kena bayar extra...bayaran tambahan....

Betul tu kalau TGV kena bayar sikit...Dulu masa ambik eurail tak tau pun ada first atau second class.. janji ada seat and coach yg kosong..main belasah..
Kitaorg dulu concentrate on which city to go....siap usung buku travel guide...masa late 90's tu info cam ni susah nak dapat..

WOW, thread ni mmg best sgt, 'Travelog' tu cukup2 bermakna , penuh dgn info yang melimpah-ruah ditambah lagi dgn jalan cerita yg menghiburkan, mcm mengalami sendiri perjalanan tu. Sy skrg ni sgt2 teruja nk pergi melancong .. Arghhhhhhh !!!!

Tp, kene bersabar sket skrg ni, InsyaAllah, sume perancangan akn 'materialised' by June 2008 ni. Sy merancang nk ke Spain dan Turkey (10days +10days). Cume skrg ni , tak tau la bos bg ke tak cuti dekat 3 minggu tu. And, the detailed planning has to start by now .

p/s: Risau gakla, sbb sy ni 'first-time traveller' , too many uncertainties esp part "custom & immigration " -kene soal mcm2 nanti.
