Ruud van Nistelrooy has become the most efficient striker in the planet and has been chosen by prestigious French magazine L'Equipe for their ideal attacking front with Didier Drogba.
Ruud van Nitselrooy has had an amazing year. After winning the League with Real Madrid in June, the striker has now been included in L'Equipe's ideal line-up, formed by the best footballers that play in Europe.
According to Spanish news agency EFE, the only other player on the line-up to play in Spain is Sevilla's Daniel Alves. Arsenal's William Gallas and 莈sc; Chelsea's Didier Drogba; Liverpool's Steven Gerrard; ManU's Nemanja Vidic, Cristiano Ronaldo and Patrice Evra; Juventus' Gianluigi Buffon; and Milan's Kaka -who recently won the Ballon d'Or- are the other players on the list.
Van Nistelrooy -aka Van Goal, for h? ease at scoring- is one of the top scorers in the Champions League this season with four strikes. He has been surpassed only by Inter Milan's Zlatan Ibrahimovic and ManU's Cristiano Ronaldo.
He is also the second top scorer in the entire history of the competition, after teammate Ra鷏 Gonz醠ez. Van Nistelrooy has become the most efficient striker in the world and he expects to continue being so this year. |
