[NEWS] B2ST’s Lee Ki Kwang to appear in ‘My Princess’ drama?
_________________________________________________________________
B2ST’s Lee Ki Kwang will be appearing alongside Song Seung Hun and Kim Tae Hee for MBC’s new mini-series, “My Princess.”
During the press conference for B2ST’s “Airline” concert on December 12th, Lee Ki Kwang sparked the curiosity of fans after revealing his plans for the upcoming new year: “I was able to participate in a drama, so I will be showing everyone new sides to myself.”
A representative of Cube Entertainment spoke with Star News after the press conference and revealed, “The drama Lee Ki Kwang will be appearing in is MBC’s ‘My Princess.’ His appearance is nearly confirmed, but we have yet to finalize what role he will be taking.”
This will be his first official acting debut in a traditional drama after appearing in a minor role for MBC’s popular sitcom, “High Kick Through the Roof.”
“My Princess” will air January 5th (hopefully with Ki Kwang!).

[NEWS] B2ST’s concert had to be paused temporarily due to a fan stampede
________________________________________________________________________
It was reported that B2ST had to pause their concert about 20 minutes into their show due to a stampede of spectators in the standing section of the venue.
B2ST opened their first independent ‘Welcome to B2ST Airlines‘ concert on December 12th, and over 8000 enthusiastic fans were in attendance, but some of them may have been a bit too excited.
Before the concert even began, the 2000 fans in the standing section were not abiding to the ordering system and were creating a dangerous situation for surrounding fans. The situation became more severe once the members actually came out, as the fans began to stampede to the front, worrying the members.
After their beginning performances of ‘Special‘ and ‘Soom‘, the members asked the fans to “be careful,” and urged the fans to be more safe. However, as soon as they saw the members walking out onto the projected stage, the 1000 fans in the standing C section moved further towards the front.
As a result, B2ST had to pause the concert after performing ‘Bad Girl’ and ‘Mystery‘ due to fears of possibly creating a great accident in the standing section.
So after 20 minutes of performing their first four tracks, the members went backstage for 10 minutes to allow for the reorganization of the seating sections of the concert.
When the members returned back on stage, leader Yoon Doojoon said, “There was an accident during our performance. We’d like to apologize first and foremost.” Son Dongwoon also expressed, “Since we will be getting closer, we’ll be thankful if everyone refrains from moving closer and abides by the ordering system.” From then onwards, the crowd stayed calm and let B2ST continue on with their ‘Mystery’ performance.

[NEWS] B2ST holds press conference before their first concert
_________________________________________________________
Building up anticipation with their six individual concert teasers as well as various promotional images, the day has finally arrived for B2ST’s first-ever solo concert,”Welcome to Beast Airlines“. Held on December 12th at 5PM, the boys took a moment to sit down for a press conference before rushing off to their concert preparations.
B2ST started off by stating, “We prepared stages under the concept of going on vacation with our fans. The six of us rehearsed a lot for this, and although it was a hard and stressful project, it was impossible for us to not do our best whenever we thought of our fans’ support.”
Leader Doojoon continued, “It’s been a bit over a year since we debuted. Honestly, everything that has happened since our debut feels like a dream. I was worried whether we would ever be loved when we debuted, but we are now receiving so much love from our fans. Ever since our debut, our two biggest goals were to win #1 on a music program and to hold a concert. We’re moments away from achieving those goals now.”
Lead vocalist Yoseob added, “I’m glad that we’re able to hold our own concert along with our four released albums. Out of everything, I’m especially proud of having released so many albums and achieving 100,000 in album sales. Our concert today is a meaningful one, as it is our first ever with our own name. The six of us will combine to have our fans enjoy it.”
Kikwang continued with a smile, “I’m happy about our 100,000 in album sales, our first concert, and our rookie awards.”
Junhyung and Hyunseung stated, “The fact that we passed 100,000 in album sales and earned three rookie awards is amazing, but we’re anticipating just as much for this concert. We prepared for our concert with fluttering hearts. There was a lot of pressure, but we rehearsed for over six hours every day.”
Dongwoon concluded, “We’re excited to be able to show off everything we have prepared for our fans. This is a dream we’ve had since our trainee days, so this is definitely one of the happiest days for us.”
When asked about their personal goals for the coming new year, Yoseob answered, “I’d like study composing and become a radio DJ.” Dongwoon answered, “I’d like to receive my driver’s license.” Kikwang answered, “I received the opportunity to star in another drama. I’ll show off different charms and sides to myself,” while Doojoon responded, “I’d like to try different genres.”
As previously reported, the group will be performing three duet songs personally composed and produced by them. The concert also sold out moments after tickets were put on sale, demonstrating the high level of interest.
When asked about what they believed were the secrets to their success, B2ST replied, “All six of us have different and unique charms, and they combine well together on stage. We believe our teamwork to be the key unit to our popularity. Thank you so much to our fans for always loving us. We will work even harder in order to open concerts overseas. Please anticipate us.”

B2ST displays dominance over Asian music fans through their first solo concert
______________________________________
Although they debuted only last year, B2ST was able to confirm their command of the Asian music market through their first-ever solo concert, held recently on December 12th.
B2ST opened their ‘Welcome to B2ST Airlines’ concert at the Jamsil Olympic Stadium, where fans from not only Korea, but also from Japan, China, Hong Kong and Thailand came together to form the 8,000-member audience for the event.
But that’s not all – according to a representative from their agency, Cube Entertainment, both Korean and overseas fans who were unable to grab a ticket stood outside the venue in the cold, listening to the music and waiting for the concert to end so that they may catch a glimpse of their idols’ faces as they walked out.
The representative stated, “The day before the concert (11th), 5-6 fans from Taiwan who were unable to buy a ticket came to the company building and asking if there was any way for them to purchase a ticket. These fans prepared themselves with blankets so that they could wait outside the venue in case somebody would come and say that they weren’t able to attend, and were consequently looking to sell their tickets.”
In the end, there were about 10 people who came to the venue trying to sell their ticket, and 5-6 of those tickets were bought by international fans. It wasn’t confirmed whether those fans were the same Taiwanese fans who came to the company building.
After the concert, B2ST headed off to a restaurant with their guest performers and fellow agency artists (G.na and 4minute) to celebrate the end of the concert. The fans somehow found out which restaurant they went to and waited outside once again just to see their faces. Around about 100 fans were still waiting, even past midnight.
