First and foremost I'd like to thank all of you who have welcomed me back home at the airport yesterday. It was such a great honour and feeling I can't tell you how good you made me feel. I so love you guys.. It was the most wonderful moment I have ever had in my life, even so much better than when they announced my name on that stage!
The past 10 days have been a revelation for me. I have found out that in striving for goals bigger than for my personal gain, the rewards that I had were much more sweeter. And that if you really work hard enough and believe in yourself with a good and sincere heart, anything is possible. I am so proud to be a Singaporean now more than ever before. And all of you should too. In my eyes everybody won in the Asian Idol, not only me. And we can celebrate the love and friendship that we have now with the rest of the other countries. To me nothing was more important than the friends that I have made then and now. This Asian Idol has brought you and me closer than ever before. And that in itself calls for a victory dance.
To everyone in Asia who is dropping by my website and happen to read this, thank you for including me in your lives and accepting me for who and what I am. I will always take pride and strive for better things in the best interest of all Asian people. And I hope to be an inspiration, and also a friend, to all of you.
Lastly but most importantly, to all HapyHadys, I love all of you so much. And this is our victory, but remember, it is not our bragging rights. It's a national victory, and we will share this with all other Singaporean Artistes, Musicians, Composers, TV personalities, and everyone who is in the music and entertainment scene. Let's work together, not against each other, in putting Singapore on the world map woohoo!!
Saya rasa, di 8TV tak ditayangkan duet Hady dan Abhijeet selepas keputusan di umumkan. Mereka dendangkan lagu Kuch Kuch Hota Hei. Di youtube ada vidnya tapi kurang jelas. Tapi seronok jugaklah. Untuk vid yang lebih terang dan jelas, boleh cari di veoh.com. Maaf tak dapat link ke sini, sebab maintenance in progress.
Duet Hady & Jac was the best! Terhibur sangat2!!! The feed each other energy, having fun and not trying to outdo each other. I hope they duet again in the future. Good combination!!
