SMAP's Katori Feeled "Happier than Ever" about the New Movie "ZATOICHI THE LAST"

SMAP member Shingo Katori attended the stage greeting of the movie "Zatoichi THE LAST" on its premiere at Roppongi in Tokyo. The movie is scheduled to be released in Thailand in 2010, and is expected to premiere in Europe and other Asian countries. "Today is a start. I hope there would be more and more people come to see the movie." said Katori with a smile; "I barely have had an experience like this, looking forward to the premiere and being so happy." he seemed overwhelmed by happiness. Takashi Sorimachi, standing on the stage, said: "We have been receiving letters from the director. I have two." And Katori said: "I have five.", while Yoshio Harada complained: "I have been working with the director for five or six times but I have never got a letter!"
Katori had been attending 7 stage greetings since May 29th to 30th. And he appealed to his fans in a humorous way: "Let's go together?" According to the costars, "Katori's body is big, as well as his acting skills. Katori's Zatoichi is very pure-hearted, and make people believe that 'this is what Zatoichi is.'"

Kaibutsu-kun to Become a Movie??~
The first time Kaibutsu-kun was at the preview screening, it had received negative reviews. But as the show continues covering a lot of family problems, it gathered attention from many families who watched together. The first episode had a high rating of 17.5%, but by the 7th episode, it's average rating dropped to 13.9%. Before, 15% would be considered the passing rating, however this time, it seems 13% is comforted enough that the film has already been decided by this result.
With Arashi's current popularity, many fans may watch it at the theatres as well. Matsumoto Jun will be making a cameo appearance in the drama's last episode, as Kaibutsu-kun's butler, so there is a possibility chance that other group members may appear in the movie as well. The film's storyline will be original and it is planned to be released next summer with a large international location shooting. Also, during the movie's release, Kaibutsu-kun merchandise are planned to go on sale. The film version of the popular drama series, Hana Yori Dango Final, starring Matsumoto in 2008, was a box office hit record of 7.75 billion yen. Will Kaibutsu-kun be able to approach this popularity?

Arashi's Kazunari Ninomiya's car crashed into a woman's bike; The woman got slightly injured.
Around 00:30 pm on June 4, at the intersection of  Tokyoto Meguro-ku Kami-Meguro Icchoume, Popular idol group Arashi's Kazunari Ninomiya (26) who was driving his car got crashed into a woman (36) who was riding her bicycle. The woman got a slight bruise on her left foot. Kazunari Ninomiya was not injured. Meguro Police Station reported this to the media.
According to the police, the intersection Ninomiya-san was going through had no light, apparently. As he moved forward through the intersection, they collided.

Arashi's new Original Album release info
After 2 long years, Arashi will be releasing a new Original Album on August 4th!!!
The title is "Boku no Miteiru Fuukei". Looks like it will come in 2 versions, with the LE having 2CDs. Many people on 2ch are predicting that To be free will not be included in the album like how Everything was not included in All the Best, which makes sense since the release date for To be Free and the new album are so close together. |

Ninomiya injures woman in accident, Arashi announces album and tour
Arashi member Kazunari Ninomiya (26) caused an accident while driving on Friday afternoon, hitting a 36-year-old woman on a bicycle and causing minor injuries. The same day, Arashi revealed that they will release a new album and launch a tour later this year.
At about half past noon on Friday, Ninomiya was driving in Tokyo's Meguro ward. As he approached an intersection with no traffic lights, a woman riding a bicycle came from the side, and Ninomiya's car bumped the side of her bicycle. Although Ninomiya was unharmed, the woman suffered an injury in her left leg that will take about a week to fully heal.
Johnny's Jimusho stated that Ninomiya had the day off, though he was driving on his way to a work-related meeting.
Police are currently investigating the matter. Meanwhile, Johnny's has reminded its other artists to drive carefully. Because of this accident and Jun Matsumoto's accident in February, the agency has decided to prohibit all five Arashi members from driving until the end of this year. This is apparently the first time that the company has enforced a driving ban for all members of a specific group.
The accident happened the same day that the group announced a new album, its first in over two years. Titled "Boku no Miteiru Fuukei," the album is scheduled for an August 4 release. It will at least include their four latest singles, ten new songs, and five solo songs.
In addition to the album, Arashi will go on tour from August 21 until January of next year. Like their tour last year, they plan to perform at the National Stadium and the five major Domes. During that tour, they became the first artist to play three consecutive days at the National Stadium. This time, their shows at the stadium won't be consecutive, but they will be the first to hold 4 concerts there in the same tour.

Hirosue, Nagase co-star in "24 Hour Television" drama special
The drama special for this year's "24 Hour Television" telethon has been revealed. The drama is titled "Miporin no Ekubo" and will star Ryoko Hirosue (29) with TOKIO's Tomoya Nagase (31).
Hirosue and Nagase will play a married couple in this tearjerker, based on a true story of two parents who are told that their daughter Miho (played by Manatsu Kimura) has one year left to live due to a brain tumor. The drama depicts the family's remaining time together, including the 359 letters that Miho drew before her death.
NTV will air the drama on the night of August 28. The "24 Hour Television" program will start earlier that day.
