@pluie, seems like its true, that could most likely be the couple ring that SJR will give to So Eun in next episode.

This was pointed out by someone in DC as per picture below. They weren't wearing any ring on their thumbs when they went to the shooting gun location. But both have the ring on their thumb in picture below.

So all CSI members can start your investigative work and see how often both of them wear the ring in their day to day activities hehe...
