Ada sesiapa berminat nak keja sebagai fruit picker?

aritu ada dengar berita lam tv rakyat kita kena tahan kat NZ takde permit keje kutip buah kat sana...otomatik teringat kat thread ni....bahaya jugak yer kalau main redahh gitu jer...

Hi there. It's really up to ur bro whether he wants to work and save money here first, or go to SG. Going to SG is just an alternative that most of the agencies offer coz they know many ppl don't have RM 10K. As for me, I'm not in SG. There are a lot of agents yg blh carikan keje kat SG before flying to NZ, but i wouldn't wanna recommend any of them to ur bro coz the ones that i know, are not agents from peninsular. Susah nanti nak communicate and provide the papers. I'm sure he can find one here (Peninsular) that can attend to his needs. There's one in Gombak. Do be careful though. Not all agents are kind-hearted.

For those yg nak ikut via agency, i'd like to let u know that the agent's commission dah naik. Klu thn lepas was RM2K, skg dah naik ke RM3K. Ye la, harga brg pun dah naik, apatah lagi servis mereka. Tah2 thn dpn lagi naik. Flight ticket to & fro kena sediakan dlm RM 4K, visa + permit dlm NZ300, tambang teksi from airport ke ladang keja is abt NZ150, dan kena ada cash dlm tgn supaya immigration officers x syak apa2, klu x mau kena deport. English x fluent xpe, tapi at least blh jwb klu officers tu tanya soalan. So more or less, kena sediakan + - RM 10K. AT LEAST. Klu ada Credit Card, it'll be better. Ia blh yakinkan officer tu yg kita bukannya takde duit.

For those yg above 30, jgn putus asa. We can still go coz ada agents kat sini yg ada cable dgn local agents kat NZ. Ada la cara diorg tu nak buat. But of coz it's legal. We have to undergo normal health screening procedures as usual when we get there. For those above 35, a little bit difficult, but like i said before, we can still try. Don't lose hope. Cuba dulu, result belakang cite. Yg penting, u cuba. Any other questions, i'll try to answer them. Have a nice day ppl.

cam menarik je keje as fruit picker kt negara org ni...biasanya berapa lama musim memetik buah ni? lps dh habis musim, ada kerja sampingan lain atau balik malaysia semula?...

Insya Allah, i will go before June 2009. Kalau ada empty spot and ada pengambilan pada masa tu. If not, kena tunggu empty spot and ada pengambilan, baru blh pegi, coz it also depends on the fruit-picking season as well. The agency won't send u there klu takde kosong. Anyhow, for the contact no, i will definitely give my no ONLY after i dah confirm about my departure. I'll let everybody in this thread know abt my departure at least 2-3 months in advance. Hope u don't mind.

Based on what i've been informed, the permit is given for a period of 6 months. 1 or 2 months sebelum ia berakhir, ur employer akan tanya whether u nak sambung or xnak. Klu u nak sambung, ur employer akan sambung permit tu utk u but it depends whether after that u'll be working in the orchard, pruning, or in the factory. The fruit picking does depend on the season.

Aku tengok macam orang ramai je orang yang dah bekerja nak join benda ni..

Ok,keje fruit picker ni 6 bulan je,kan..maksud aku, adakah korang akan berhenti kerja yang korang ada sekarang dan kemudiannya apply untuk kerja backpackers ni..atau, boleh ke kita apply cuti keje 6 bulan...??Aku tgh buat Msc...aku akan habis dalam Jun tahun depan....

Seems ur friend dah ada pengalaman, good 4 him. If u dont mind me asking, last year dia ikut agency mana? Or dia pegi sendiri?
Maybe u boleh tanya apa prosedur/pengalaman dia last year, blh berkongsi dgn semua kat sini, sebagai panduan.
Kenapa tahun ni dia tak cuba pegi sendiri kat tempat yg sama di NZ?
Coz dia dah ada pengalaman, rugi klu dia bayar kat agen.

dia ada pengalaman 1 kali saja, kat AUS.  pergi sendiri tapi pening kepala pasal banyak masalah.  masa tu, dia first timer.  
sebab tu tahun ni dia plan pergi NZ walaupun dia nak sangat ke AUD (gaji lebih mahal).  tak mau pening kepala lagi.  
tapi kalau ada orang boleh tolong usahakan, memang dia hendak sangat ke AUS.

Hmm.. do u mean, last year dia pegi illegally? Bahaya tu...  
Klu kat OZ, i xde contact, if i ada, i wont hesitate to help him..
Tapi memandangkan dia dah ada pengalaman, cant he just go there alone & apply for the working permit from his previous employer?
Klu dah kenal employer, biasanya lbh mudah, coz employer blh buatkan working permit utk ur friend.
Or maybe he has other reasons not to?
The only contact yg i ada skg is for NZ. But who knows, in time to come, maybe Allah akan bagi rezeki utk kita keje kat UK even?
Ur friend is always welcome to join us to NZ tho'.
