Ying Jin-Kok Leong win men抯 doubles title in Greece
PETALING JAYA: KLRC Bhd shuttlers Goh Ying Jin-Au Kok Leong secured a timely Christmas present for themselves, winning the men's doubles title in the just concluded Hellas Victor Open in Thessaloniki, Greece.
The unseeded Malaysian pair defeated Mikkel Elbjorn-Mads Pieter Kolding of Denmark 21-12, 21-13 in the final.
Ying Jin-Kok Leong also eliminated two Danish pairs en route to the final. They beat Thomas Fynbo-Emil Holst 21-15, 21-18 in the quarter-finals and defeated Niklas Hoff-Peter Mork 21-17, 18-21, 21-15 in the next round.
In the men's singles, former national champion James Chua came through from the qualifying tournament but his run came to an end in the quarter-finals, going down to a 18-21, 16-21 defeat by Marc Zwiebler of Germany.
The top seeded Zwiebler went on to take the title with a 21-14, 21-16 win over Raju Rai of the United States in the final.
In the women's doubles, KLRC Bhd's Haw Chiou Hwee-Lim Pek Siah failed to live up to their billing as second seeds, losing in straight games against Maria Helsbol-Anee Skelbaek of Denmark in the semi-finals. |

ni Nona panggil dia..."Koo..Koo...pandang sini...." beshhhnya dia dengar terus senyum kat Nona, apalagi snap lah...
nak dpt tandatangan pun susah..smpi kawan Nona jatuh2...
