X LEH BLAH..ADA ORG ANALISA MAKSUD jenis2 minuman yg dak laki anjell offer kat minam kat soompi..
I particularly enjoyed the partwhen Mi Nam was coughing, and the three members offered her a drink. The beverage choices represented the boys’ characters so well, and Icouldn’t help but read into it a little. I really like symbolism. Hereis my take on it:
First, JUICE.
-->Jeremy ‘s character is a lot like juice. Its sweet, has a brightappealing nature, and is usually packed with energy boosting vitamins, like Vitamin C. Jeremy is like that. When Mi Nam was feeling down, hetook her out and raised her morale.
--> Throughout the day,we all have fluctuating blood sugar levels depending on if we skipped ameal, or ate too much or whatever. On days when you’re feeling tired orweak or drowsy, it’s best to eat or drink something with a lot of sugarto raise your blood sugar. Drinking juice is the fastest way to boostup your energy levels, because it contains a lot of sugar. You willfeel instantly better, and in a way, Jeremy is like that. He is bright, cheerful, and an instant boost when you are feeling down.
-->The only issue with juice is that its effects die out in the long run,and too much sugar is not good for you. If Mi Nam ever chose Jeremy fora relationship, I don’t know how well they would do together. Theywould be a sickeningly adorable couple, super sweet, bright, andinnocent... but could they last? They’re both so dense XD... whathappens when reality hits? Moving on to the next beverage...
Second, TEA.
-->Shin Woo’s character is a lot like tea. Tea is warm and soothing. Eversince Shin Woo decided to help Mi Nam, he has always been good to her, comforting her when she needs someone, and always being a person shecan rely on... a warm and soothing person.
--> Also, depending on which tea you choose, the tea can be calming, or it cankeep you awake because of the caffeine. Many times we have seen ShinWoo comfort Mi Nam, or listen to her problems, or give her advice. Butwe have also seen how Shin Woo can cheer her up and give her strength. He soothes her, but also awakens her spirits, kind of like caffeine.(Think of the pseudo-date Shin Woo set up, just following her aroundand watching her eat and shop).
--> Tea is also good foryou, if it is herbal. If Mi Nam chose Shin Woo for a relationship, Ithink we all know she would be making a good choice. Tea is usually alittle bitter in taste, but with Mi Nam’s sweetness, they could make agreat balance. However, let’s explore....
Third, WATER.
-->Tae Kyung’s character is a lot like water. Water is clear, transparent. It has no added vitamins, different coloring, sugar, or any otheringredients. In a sense, it doesn’t pretend to be anything more thanwhat it already is. Water is water. You either take it or leave it. TaeKyung has a lot of flaws (like his grumpiness, his picky nature, andhis weird allergies), but he doesn’t pretend to be otherwise. He is notfake like Yoo He Yi; he is the same scowly-faced, nit-picky idol onscreen as he is off screen. He is genuine. And in a way, he is alsopure, even with all the past scars he had with his mother. He stillbelieves in her, which is why he collects all her albums, and why hestill went to the restaurant to see her. Tae Kyung is a good personthrough and through, and we can all see that.
--> Also, water can be served either hot or cold. We can see that his dynamicswith Mi Nam right now are a lot like that. There are times when he isreally sweet to her (HOT) and other times when he is grumpy (COLD). Butwhile his moods might be hot or cold, we are still confident that hewill always be there for her when she needs him. And unlike Shin Woowho is always warm (just like tea is only best served warm), Tae Kyungcan be either hot or cold. I don’t remember Shin Woo ever being mean toMi Nam, but I like the fact that Tae Kyung is strict or direct withher. Tae Kyung tells her when she has made a mistake, or when hedoesn’t like something she does. He is honest and calls her out on herweaknesses, and she benefits from that.
--> Lastly, (andthis is the most important part), water is necessary for survival. Aperson can survive without drinking juice, or without drinking tea, oreven EATING, but a person will ALWAYS need water. Even when you aresick, the doctor will recommend you to drink lots of fluids... juice, tea, water... but mostly water. Because water is the purest, and thebest. Water might not be as classy as tea, or as sweet as juice, butwater represents life. In the end, out of the three, Mi Nam needs TaeKyung the most, just like people need water the most out of everything. And she will never go wrong if she chooses him for a relationship, because he will always be there, and he will always sustain her. Mi Namwould be lively with Jeremy, Mi Nam would be safe with Shin Woo, but MiNam will only flourish to her highest potential if she were with TaeKyung. |
