JK's Digest No. 19 of October 2007 (276 of 2007) Congratulations for Big event but blur for some

It is about the launch of Soyuz TMA-11 for 11 days in space and ISS for three persons namely Peggy Whitson, Yuri Malenchenko and Dr. Sheikh Muszaphar Shukor Sheikh Mustapha at 13.22 gmt (13=4 and 22=4) not at 9.21 p.m. as reported in local papers.

Big event indeed but blurred by some observations in Daily Express as my newspaper was blurred/ hazy/slight distortion due to printing malfunction/malalignment in the front page (is it my piece only?). [Forgive them for they know not what they do]. Then there is a report of the Big Screen in KLCC malfunction and some people had to see the 14" TV. Why blurred and why 14 (why not 21" or 17") when we have 14 stripes and 14 points in the star in Jalur Gemilang or Malaysian Flag?

First many eyes were blurred by the dashing bright light of the launch at Kazakstan of the 50 meter rocket for the 50/44 years of Merdeka and Malaysia plus 50 years after Sputnik on the same spot.

LAST NIGHT, I saw it on the 10 p.m. English news at TV 2 at about 10.22 p.m. of the launch but I was overwhelmed by the first few seconds of that and did not see the striking 6 pointed star of the rocket a few second within the first minute of the launch. I was doing something on line in the Internet.

This morning at the 7 a.m. news at TV1, I did observe with great interest why the striking 6 pointed star initially with rocket burning off. So I would like to ask why 6 pointed star rather than 14 (Malaysian Flag) or 5 points star (normal depiction of a star). The only 6 point star in any prominent logo is the Star of David and coincidentally is used by Israel in its flag - the modern one in existence since 1948 also my birth year. It is silly that Israel is the only country banned in my passport, why?

While Dr Sheikh Muszaphar Shukor expressed more spiritual and that God is closer to him and prepared to share with Muslims (Muslims only???) on his return, the six pointed star may betray such belief. I don't think science can explain why 6 points (unusual thing) and so it is a spiritual thing that belong to the true God. Why the betrayal? I think the Arabs and Islamic world have been cursing Israel bearing the 6 point star (how many times, this flag had been burned?) while Iran wants to demolish Israel and supported by most nations in OIC. So I hope the OIC (Oh I see) did see the vivid 6 point star soon after the launch of the rocket within the minute. TV station please replay this Soyuz launch like the riots in Batu Buruk, Terrengganu where the Police opened fire.

We don't need to be blur over very small Israel in one earth. Are we expecting some tragedy on 12th October in the promised land? Save Israel to save ourselves. God says "Bless Israel and be blessed" Gen 12:2-3. Since Shukor had said his piece, I say mine here. Fair.

Aiyaa...there is no symbolic about the 'star' la... it's just reflection on the camera lens...

Blur? Never heard of overexposure?

14" TV? It's just a monitor for the reporter to use...end up using it to view the event....who wants to lug around a 21" TV in the field?
