Sementara itu Azham Mansor, abang pelayar negara Datuk Azhar Mansor yang dikaitkan dalam SMS itu, terkilan dengan tohmahan adiknya sudah murtad, berpindah ke Australia dan kini giat mengkafirkan orang Islam.

"Fitnah semuanya. SMS yang mengatakan Azhar sudah peluk agama Kristian dan telah banyak membaptiskan pelajar adalah tidak benar. Saya sebagai abang Azhar hendak menjelaskan bahawa SMS itu menipu," katanya.

Azham, 56, yang ditemui pemberita di perkarangan gereja Lady of Lourdes, berkata adik kandungnya itu sedang menguruskan perniagaannya di Langkawi.

"Saya pasti dan saya tahu adik saya. Dia seorang Islam. Tolonglah, jangan ganggu dia lagi.

"Memang perkara ini tidak wujud, ini menipu. Dia ada di Langkawi. Saya telefon bapa saya dan dia telefon Azhar yang mengatakan dia di Langkawi. Saya telefon bapa saya sebab saya hendak tahu apa hal semua ni," kata Azham yang kini menetap di Pasir Puteh di sini.

Soalan saya, kenapa dia (Datuk Azahar) tak bagi kenyataan pada press? Kan bagus kalau dia beritahu kita semua supaya cerita ni tak diulang ulang oleh orang orang tertentu.

yes, i agreed . why not  Datuk Azahar himself give press statements. Mr Neil Armstrong made many public press statements that he is not muslims nor listen any azan in moon.

Why must menjj and his gangs acting on behave of him?

i also notice  some muslims government dpt also might be murtad because,when  i greet with them 'salam' they refuse to greet back. ,made me so suspicious

Azhar  not going to tell the truth because he knew the consequences. Like myself, I remember one of my tenant enter my room and surprise to see booklet "Jesus" . He was shocked why am keeping that booklet. I reply "nothing , just reading only" ....yet I did not tell  him the real truth  on my faith that i practised now.

Mungkin sebab dia tidak mahu campur dalam hal ini atau dia terlalu sibuk dengan urusannya. Anyway one can always go to Langkawi and pay a visit to Telaga Harbour. Tengok samada Datuk Azhar tu kat situ ke, atau dia dah pindah ke Australia.

His brother already denied that Datuk Azhar is a murtad, so no amount of Christian propaganda is going to shake that testimony.

Daripada menguar-uarkan kemutadan orang adalah lebih baik kita berdoa semuga semua umat Islam sentiasa berada di dalam Keredhaan Allah dan di RahmatiNya. Kasihanilah saudara seugama kita dengan tuduhan yang amat kejam itu. Jikapun betul saudara kita itu Murtad apakah dengan menguar-uarkannya saudara kita itu dapat kita kembalikannya  kepada agama Islam. Hukum dalam Islam adalah jelas, Haram hukumnya seseorang mengatakan kafir kepada orang lain. Apakah kita sudah tidak takut dengan hukum Allah jika sekalipun hukum dunia kita tak rasa apa-apa... Apa pun saya sentiasa berdoa semuga semua kaum keluarga dan saudara-saudara seagama saya akan hidup dan mati dalam keredhaan Allah...Janganlah kita mati melainkan mati di dalam Islam...

all this comes from muslims mouth not from Azahar. like myself, my friends still think i am muslims if other would says i no longer practised islam....peoples will make assumption but the real truth is     that person who practised it.

when i was attending a speech from christian  pastors in one of the  hall , the same question can be ask "And can anyone explain what is he doing in the hall which occupied by Christ followers?

Dear Forumers,

If Azhar Mansor is an apostate that is his personal affair. Why should Musims bother about him. But now since all Muslims are making so much noise, surely he would deny but deep in his heart he would say "Huh! the morons are after me so I'll deny that have apostated and pretend to be a Muslim while in Malaysia but once out of this country I'd be a Christian". Yes, that is what all apostates of Islam would thnk in their heart. I'll just pretend to be a Muslim and the morons would not know and I can still say Hail Mary in my heart. How does that feel uh? Forcing one to be a Muslim till deat would result in this kind of betrayal to Islam. If a Muslim wishes to leave Islam let him go in peace instaed of making it a national issue and hurting him and his family. I think some Muslims are lacking in decency. Get a grip of your lives and let others live in peace.

The police yesterday said that they have called in one person to give statement over the SMS and will be calling in several others, including Perak Mufti Harussani.

as for azhar mansor, leave him alone. he might have seen Jesus while sailing or he might seen the real Holy Book while he stop certain port.

When new reporters aproached him in Langkawi about ythe rumours of his conversion to Christianity he refused to answer saying it is personal matter and the time is not right now. So what I said was right. Muslims should leave the man alone and let him live his life he chose to live. It is the best for everybody.
