Justin Bieber Stops Turkey Concert for Islamic Call to Prayer
By Soraya Roberts

After all that negative PR, it's nice to hear a positive Justin Bieber story.
The 19-year-old "Boyfriend" singer is being praised by his Turkish fans for stopping his Istanbul concert two times on Thursday. The gesture was to honour the Islamic call to prayer, E! News reports.
"Turkey was right," Bieber tweeted following the gig.
Local Beliebers took to Twitter to thank the Canadian pop star, who is himself a devout Christian, for respecting their faith.
Apparently, Justin Bieber paused his concert in Turkey twice out of respect for the athan. Muslim artists dont do that. I'm impressed biebs!

So, does this mean the Ontario native will perform in Oman after all? You may remember that in April, reports emerged that Muslim leaders quashed the Biebs's upcoming show in Muscat to preserve the "moral health" of their female population.
“Many people here were horrified by what they had heard about Bieber," a source in Oman told Hollywood Life, adding, "He was called a reprobate and words were used like debauchery and Haraam, which in Islam means a sinful act that displeases God.”
In the wake of the musician's faithful performance in Turkey, maybe they'll reconsider.
Either way, Bieber has tacked on a second show in Dubai to make up for Oman's loss. Whether or not he will observe the United Arab Emirates' call to prayer remains to be seen.
