SENIOR SOFTWARE ENGINEER

Our client is a leading system integrator with experience and expertise in the supply, delivery, installation, commission, support and maintenance of turnkey ICT systems for government agencies, public institutions and corporate sectors. We are an MSC Status Company and also registered with Ministry of Finance (MOF) to undertake computerization projects involving application development, supply of hardware, networking and consultancy services.

Responsibilities:

• Development and maintenance of .net applications (web based and windows based).
• Communicate to customers, reporting and resolving helpdesk issues etc.
• Ability to remote login and provide user application support.
• Testing, debug and improve project.
• Create, update and maintain System Documentation.
• Use Web technologies such as Java Script, connecting with ODBC and Web Services Description Language (WSDL) to send, receive data from databases.
• Involve in development Online project base on dot net technology.
• Coding/Developing tools/applications, dealing with automation systems.
• Participate in software Architecture and Design applying best practices.
• Effectively communicate to customers to determine requirements, and specifications for programs.
• Document, test and validate programs/scripts.
• Work US office hours when required.

Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Computer Science/ Information     Technology or equivalent.
• At least 2 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Preferably Junior Executives specializing in IT/Computer - Software or equivalent.
• VB.NET , C#.Net.
• ASP.NET , AJAX, HTML / CSS, .Net Web services.
• SQL Server 2K8, SQL Server 2K5.
• Object Oriented Programming concepts and techniques.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Production Support experience.
• Preferred Fingerprint SDK and software development.
• Preferred Barcode and Card Reader Familiarity.

Additional Information:

• Basic Salary: RM 3300 – RM 4400.
• Location: Kuala Lumpur.
• Full-time positions available.
