Coming down hard on errant drivers in Cyberjaya

BEGINNING next year if you find your vehicle clamped or missing from the place you parked in Cyberjaya, it is probably been towed away by the Sepang Muncipal Council (MPSp) tow-trucks.

The council is coming hard on haphazard parking in Cyberjaya and if motorists are still stubborn, then be prepared to pay hefty summonses to retrieve your vehicles.

Enforcement officers will be stationed along major routes like Persiaran APEC, Persiaran Multimedia, Persiaran Semarak Api, Jalan Teknokrat and Jalan Usahawan.

MPSp public relations officer Zelda Mohd Zamri said motorists were advised to park their vehicles at designated parking areas at The Sports Arena, Taman Tasik Cyberjaya and Persiaran Rimba Permai and hop into the free shuttle services to get to their working place.

揟he days are numbered for errant drivers. There are ample parking areas, therefore there is no reason for roadside parking any more,拻 she said.

The Cyberview-MPSp parking venue consisting of 1,149 parking bags is in place and a dedicated transport system is provided to ferry workers and visitors commuting within the city.

Those who still insist on parking along road shoulders would be fined the maximum amount allowed under the council parking by-laws.

Council president Azizan Mohd Sidin had said enforcement officers would conduct daily checks to ensure that no vehicles were parked along these routes and create awareness on the new parking system.

hehehehhe...kalau terus wat camni.....tow je...maka majlis perbandaran mana2 pun akan terus dapat kutip duit saman bagai....ye lah....nak kuar/release kan kete...terpaksa lah bayar....kalau setakat tepek saman kat wiper kete....saper nak bayar..
