Aihara Kotoko (Sato Aiko), in 'F' class, is a direct contrast to Naokiin terms of studies, character and even outlook of life. Though she may not be great inher studies, she is a happy-go-lucky girl who always manages to pick herself up afterbeing tripped by obstacles.  She sees Naoki as her greatest dreamand he is the main source of motivation in whatever she does.  However, she tends to beover-exaggerated in her actions and occasionally, her 'big-mouth' and enormous laughtercan really 'traumatize' Naoki.  But when Kotoko gets serious, shereally means business.  

Reiko.Naoki's classmate. The rich and proud girl vying with Kotoko for Naoki'saffections. At times, she can be quite jealous of Kotoko and always schemes to comebetween them. She is often seen tagging along with Naoki wherever he goes but the latterdoes not seem to reciprocate her feelings. However, just like Kotoko, she bases her futureroute on Naoki. The way she stands firm in her love can be seen as an admirable trait ofhers but her conniving behaviour is sometimes quite detestable.

Kinnosuke.Kotoko's ardent admirer and always stand up for her in times of trouble. He remainsfirm in his love for Kotoko and persists on even though the latter has made it clear tohim that she will only love Naoki. His dream is to become a sushi chef and his sensei isnone other than Kotoko's father. His sponteanity and extreme expressivenss also make himquite a cute character. However, all the three kisses he had are with guys... (opps...allof them are just accidents. So don't worry. ;p )
