[b]MUST SEE! Scientific Facts in the Qur'an - SKY’S PROTECTION
The Qur'an is not a book of science but a book of signs, yet it contains some undeniable facts related to science.
Islam strongly urges mankind to study and explore the universe and the world around us.
Allah has not forbidden mankind to question. Allah tells us throughout the Qur'an to contemplate and investigate the heavens and the earth.
Allah says:
"Verily! In the creation of the heavens and the earth, and in the alternation of night and day, there are indeed signs for men of understanding."
"Who remember Allah while standing or sitting or [lying] on their sides and give thought to the creation of the heavens and the earth, [saying], "Our Lord, You did not create this aimlessly; exalted are You [above such a thing]; then protect us from the punishment of the Fire."
(Qur'an 3:190-191)
These verses are just a few that strongly imply that "contemplating" the world around us is an integral part of faith.
There is a verse in the Qur'an which says:
"And We made the sky a protected ceiling, but they, from its signs, are turning away."
(Qur'an 21:32)
