Hi, folks,
I'm gonna visit Penang soon.
Does anyone have any backpacking advice?
I'll be looking for a budget stay with clean being the most important item. Any recommendations, Georgetown or anywhere else.
What's the bus service like between Georgetown and Batu Ferringhi?

Bus: Maybe, Rapid Penang.
If you are coming here by bus,
Take a Ferry at Butterworth and
when you arrive the Island side,
There are lot of bus waiting for you there.
You may ask the driver, which bus is going to Batu Feringghi.

You may stay at hotel  near to batu feringghi there.
I am not familiar with the hotel/motel.

you may travel by Beca.
