Takeru Sato to star in "Q10" drama
Actor Takeru Sato (21) has landed his first starring role in a drama series. He will play a high school student in the NTV drama "Q10" this fall, using an original script by Izumi Kizara ("Nobuta wo Produce").
Sato plays Heita, an ordinary high school boy with a kind heart but no real interest in romance. His class is joined by a transfer student named Q10 (pronounced "kyu-to," the same as "cute"), who looks like a girl but is actually a robot. Together, the two end up causing trouble at school, and Heita even begins falling for Q10. A kiss scene between the two is planned.
NTV will start shooting the drama in early September in preparation for an October premiere. The series will air on Saturday nights at 9:00pm.

More cast members revealed for Sato Takeru drama, AKB48's Maeda confirmed
The website for the upcoming fall drama “Q10” starring Sato Takeru has been updated. The list confirms that AKB48’s Maeda Atsuko will be playing the female lead.
Other cast members will include Renbutsu Misako, Kaku Kento, Ikemastu Sosuke, Emoto Tokio, Mitsuki Takahata, Hosoda Toshiko, Tanaka Yuji, Matsuoka Rinako, Mitsuishi Ken, Ono Takehiko and Yakushimaru Hiroko.
Maeda Atsuko is a 19-year old AKB48 Team A member, and often appears as the lead singer for the single releases. Kaku Kento most recently played "Nippori" in the spring drama Tumbling.
As reported earlier on Tokyograph the drama tells the story of a regular high school boy (Sato) who meets a transfer student who looks like a girl but is really a robot.

Takahashi Yu to sing theme song for upcoming drama “Q10″
Singer and songwriter Takahashi Yu will release his second single, “Honto no Kimochi“, on November 10th, and it’s been announced that the song will be used for the upcoming drama, “Q10” (pronounced ‘cute’).
Yu has just debuted as a major singer with his first single “Subarashiki Nichijou” in July.
“Q10″ begins on October 16th, and stars Sato Takeru and Maeda Atsuko (AKB48).  Takeru said, “The song suits the drama very well.  Please look forward to watch the drama as well as the theme song.”

Sato Takeru braces for backlash from Maeda Atsuko’s fans
The press conference for the upcoming drama, “Q10“, was held on October 3rd, and Sato Takeru, Maeda Atsuko (AKB48), and other cast members showed up.
It’s drama in which a high school boy (Sato) falls in love with a robot (Maeda), and at the press conference, he was asked if he is ready for the inevitable jealous backlash from Maeda’s fans. Sato answered jokingly, “When I think about that, I can’t even sleep at night. I won’t make her unhappy, and I will try my best.” He also said that his favorite AKB48 song is “Ponytail to Shushu“.
“Q10″ will start on October 16th on Nihon TV.
