Brief summary :
Love Song will be a drama version of the original 1996 Chinese movie (甛蜜蜜/ tianmimi), and Hallyu star Park Yong Ha will be playing the main male character.
Yoon Eun Hye’s character is planned to be Yoo Chae Hwa, a Korean woman diligently living in China who also has the tendency of tricking people.
With the top-notch casts – Yoon Eun Hye and Park Yong Ha – and infamous story writer Oh Soo Yun, who also wrote the story line for Winter Sonata and Autumn Story, Love Song is becoming anticipated as another upcoming Hallyu drama.
Filming for Love Song will commence during the beginning of August, and the finished product will air later in the year.

[news] Yoon Eun-hye as female star in TV remake of 'Comrades'
Korean actress Yoon Eun-hye has been chosen as the female lead of a Korean remake of the popular Hong Kong movie "Comrades, Almost a Love Story," according to the show's producer Verdi Media on Monday.
Yoon will be playing the role of Yoo Chae-hwa, a Korean residing in China, in the remake tentatively titled "Love Song" alongside Korean actor Park Yong-ha, an official at Verdi announced through a press release.
The official added that the actress' return to the small screen is already creating buzz not just domestically but also internationally -- Verdi has been receiving inquiries regarding the publication rights for "Love Song" since all of Yoon's previous works had been received favorably in Japan and other countries overseas.
"Comrades," starring top Hong Kong actors Maggie Cheung and Leon Lei, was the top-grossing foreign film in Korea when it released in 1997. The movie is an epic love story between two Chinese mainlanders who meet and fall in love in Hong Kong.
The remake is set to begin shooting in late July and scheduled to hit the small screen at the end of the year.
Yoon Eun-hye made her debut as a member in the girl group Baby VOX in 1997. She has appeared in numerous variety shows and entertainment programs after leaving the group in 2005.
She rose to stardom after starring in the smash hit TV series "Coffee Prince" and in "My Fair Lady."
She is currently helping out children in Africa as a part of a UNICEF campaign titled "Never Alone" with SS501 member Kim Hyun-joong.

Yoon Eun Hye Returns with New Drama “Love Song”

Yoon Eun Hye will be returning to television with new drama, Love Song! She will be playing the main female lead alongside Park Yong Ha in the drama version of the Hong Kong movie Tian Mi Mi.
Yoon Eun Hye will play Yoo Chae Hwa, an energetic young woman who returns to Korea from China. She at times lies to others, but deep inside, she is a very innocent woman who cannot forget her one true love.
According to sources, Yoon Eun Hye choose this project because she found the script and synopsis emotional and heart-moving, evoking the same feelings she felt when watching the original movie.
Yoon Eun Hye said that she will act in this project, hoping that it will become a big present not only for Koreans, but for all the fans in Asia.
According to the production team, Yoon Eun Hye’s success in Goong, Coffee Prince, and My Fair Lady in Japan and other international markets has caused a stampede for the purchase of broadcast rights for the drama since her involvement was officially announced.
In Japan, there is much anticipation for the drama since Yoon Eun Hye and Park Yong Ha are big hallyu stars and they will be teaming up with writer Oh Soo Yun of Winter Sonata and Autum In My Heart. The director is Ji Young Soo, who directed Oh! Pil Seung And Bong Soon Young and Yoon Eun Hye’s last drama, My Fair Lady.
The production team added that they are currently negotiating with companies in 11 Asian countries for the rights to broadcast Love Song. Outside of Asia, there is also demand in the United States, Europe, and the Middle East. US studio Warner Bros. has expressed interest in buying the US broadcast rights for Love Song.
Love Song will start filming in August and air later in the year. |
