Synopsis
LeeSeo Jin plays a criminal psychoanalyst. Lee Jin is his ex-girlfriend.Im Joo Eun (lead) is a girl who is being possessed / haunted by aspirit (Ji Yeon). The ghost was wrongfully killed and uses Im's body topunish those who hurt her.

T-ara JiYeon chooses drama over movie
Group T-ara member JiYeon (16) has chosen to take part in drama over movie.
Mnetsaid, "Although JiYeon was casted for movie 'Gas Station Raid 2′, shehad ultimately chosen to go with drama 'Soul' and refused the movieoffer."
JiYeon will appear on MBC TV 'Soul' as the female lead, the drama is set to air fom 5th August.
The10-episode 'Soul' drama talks about the a ghost who seeks to takerevenge and get justice through a body after being murdered unjustly.
JiYeon is currently promoting 'Female Generation' as part of project group SeeYa, Davichi and JiYeon.

Teaser poster to T-ara JiYeon’s new drama revealed
The poster to the upcoming MBC drama 'Soul (Hon)' has been revealed.
Thefirst teasers into the drama is the cuts of each actors who are goingto star in the drama, and the posters have been said to be 'creepy' and'scary' by netizens. One of the posters also feature T-ara JiYeon, whowill be the female lead to the drama.
The producer to movies like 'Phone' and 'Scissors' Ahn Byung Gi, will be in charge of the OST MV and teaser to this drama.
Thestory talks about a ghost who is back to get justice after beingmurdered through using the body of the main character, it stars actorslike Lee Seo Jin, Lee Jin and T-ara JiYeon.

Casting complete, filming to begin early June
Following「Triple」 is MBC's summer special miniseries 「Soul」 (script by InEun-ah, Go Eun-nim & Park Young-suk, directed by Kim Sang-ho &Kang Dae-seon), and it has opened its teaser site with 2 months leftuntil its broadcast.
The 「Soul」 website (www.mbchon.co.kr) isthe very first 'horror drama' to open a teaser website. The maincharacter Yun Ha-na is possessed by an evil ghost and commits murders,and fittingly the concept for the teaser has Yun Ha-na as a marionette.This mysterious site makes its visitors question, 'Who is controllingHa-na?'
The website starts off with a strong intro, a close-upof Im Ju-eun's eyes with dark music in the background. With theappearance of Yun Ha-na in her school uniform, the site transitionsinto the main page. In regard to Im Ju-eun's eyes, director Kim Sang-hoonce commented, "She has enchanting brown eyes that give off amysterious air." Those eyes enhance the feeling of terror and captivatethe attention of the visitor.
The website will soon be updatedwith character introductions as well as videos of interviews. And otherthrilling elements like chilling stills from the shoot will be placedhere and there. On the right will be a countdown that marks how manydays left until D-day (the broadcast) to heighten expectations.
Soul」is the story of a criminal profiler who slowly becomes immersed in evilas he investigates a case in which a young girl is possessed by avengeful ghost. Casting is complete with Lee Seo-jin, Im Ju-eun, ParkGeon-il, Lee Jin, Park Ji-yeon, Kim Gab-su, Kim Seong-ryeong, YuYeon-seok and Choi Su-eun, among others.
Returning to thesmall screen a year after 「Yi San」, Lee Seo-jin will take on the roleof Shin Ryu, a criminal profiler with a fatal attraction. He's anauthority in criminal psychology, and he possesses an extreme duality.Taking on the lead female role of Yun Ha-na is Im Ju-eun, who won therole through auditions amidst the highly competitive rate of 1058:1.She has been practicing her acting since early April, and two weeks agoshe enrolled in action school to practice wire action and other intensetraining. Lee Jin attempts a second stab at horror after 「Hometown ofLegend」 as she takes on the role of Lee Hye-won, a public prosecutorand Lee Seo-jin's ex-girlfriend.
The 10 episode「Soul」 is thefirst summer special by MBC in 14 years. After the first script readingin the near future, it will begin official filming. |
