Sinopsis;

The court prosecutes Tong Chi Ko (Steven Ma)for slander. After reforming his life, he joins a fashion corporationas a legal advisor. He becomes good friends with Tung Yat Jun (Ron Ng), the nephew of corporation head Tung Jin Lung (Ngok Wah). Ko encounters his first love, Tsui Wing (Bernice Liu), but discovers that her relationship with Lung is atypical. Lung's wife, Kam Chi (Michelle Yim), accidentally learns Jun's life-changing secret and swears to set him into a deathtrap!
This time, Ko suspects that the fashion company isn't simplyengaged within the bounds of its business, but is furthermore involvedwith an international off-track betting activity. However, the truth ofthe matter causes people to be confused. Actually, who is the realperson behind the scenes pulling strings?

Best Actor: Ron Ng
Ronreally improved and he looks so good in glasses! I'm not too keen onthe chemistry he had with Kate, but overall as an individual, he did anawesome job.

Best Actress: Shirley Yeung
Ilove watching her when she's evil!! Especially in the last episode -her talk with Stephen and afterwards, with Michelle.. her eyes!! I waslike "WOW" throughout the whole scene (and series)! I'm really happythat TVB gave her this role and proving that she can act morechallenging roles!

Most Improved Actor: Stephen Wong
Stephenhas indeed impressed me. Of course, he has room for improvement but ijust really like his character! You can feel the pain he feltthroughout the whole time he was disabled.

Most Improved Actress: Bernice Liu
Eventhough Bernice didn't really shine in this series, but her actingtowards the end of the series were quite good - in the beginning it wasstiff for some reason =S

Best Couple: Steven Ma & Bernice Liu

Best Villian: Ngoh Wa
NgohWa was worse than Shirley, i mean seriously. Even when Michelle wentcrazy and was holding her dog, he still wanted to take it off herbecause the dog had the chip inside it. His expressions are still,effortless and even when the police told him that Ron died and that hiswife was doing illegal matters, his facial expressions are SO fake!! I mean, look a bit like you mean it!

Extraordinary Award: Michelle Yim
I still truly admire her. Her acting skills are amazing. I still wonder why TVB didn't give her roles like Sung Gam Chi in the past. I did kind of felt sorry that she went crazy when Stephen died - he was her everything. All she did, was for her son.

Favourite Scene: Episode 20, when Shirley told Stephen everything and straight after that, Shirley and Michelle "talk".

Rating: 9.5/10

Episode 1
Ha Yu and his son, Steven issitting amongst the public audience of a racetrack area. In anothersection, Ngoh Wa and his wife, Michelle had joined in the horse owners'stateroom. Under the presence of fate, Steven and Ron meet. Ha Yu isretired and he enjoys going to visit his son at work and is ahorseplayer. His happy, leisured days ended when he owes an enormousamount in debt due to illegal off-track betting activity. Steven, whowas in the process of applying for a government job, finds out and usesthe money he'd saved up to pay for the deposit of a new apartment. Hismother, Mary and sister, Yoyo didn't understand, and thought that he nolonger wanted to purchase an apartment because he did not get acceptedfor the job. Steven's best friend, Kenneth Ma, is working hard to catchthe corporation behind illegal off-track betting. His sister, Katemeets Ron, who is a veterinarian, while taking a wounded stray dog tothe vet. Steven's car is destructed by Ron. But due to Ron'sstraightforward personality, he becomes friends with Steven andKenneth. Kate witnesses an automobile accident and recognizes the carbelongs to Ron. The person who had committed the crime was actuallyVin, Ngoh Wah's second son. He has been suspended of his license, butsecretly took Ron's car. His mother, Michelle, hints to Ron to take theblame for Vin.
