I am not quite sure whether topic ni is appropriate for this board, but actually aku just nak mintak opinion korang pasal Telekom Malaysia Berhad (TM).
TM used to be the market leader in the industry but sekarang ni kita nampak TM dah jatuh no.2 after Maxis Telocommunication. Although TM banyak businesses outside Malaysia tapi diowang tak mampu nak capture local market sepenuhnya, walaupun diowang la pioneer dalam bidang telekomunikasi kat Malaysia ni.
Where did they go wrong ???? Well marketing and promotion strategy is one thing but korang pikir is there something else that limiting their sucess.
Bagi sesapa yang ader experience bekerja kat TM aku nak sangat tahu how did the company work from inside. Benefit yang diowang bagi kat staff cukup tak untuk memotivate staff dia untuk bekerja lebih efisyen. Will they be able to be "The next Petronas".
Aku rase bidang telekomunikasi kat Malaysia ni is very fundamental sebab diowang ader cabel, satelit and all other stuff that can be used to spread info easily. And aku pikir although sometimes the services that they provide is lousy as compared to Maxis i really think that we should contribute an insight on how we can help this company to improve because as we have already known TM is somewhat more than just a telecomunication service because it represent Malaysia jugak in a way.
So atas dasar nasionalisme, sempena nak menyambut kemerdekaan ni, apa yang korang pikir TM patut buat in order to gain back its market share.
aku nak transfer line tepon dr sri gombak ke batu caves dah more than 3 months dah, tak transfer apa pun lagi. mcm2 alasan la depa ni. kejer ke tido ke aku pun tak tau la
aku siap copy paste kau punya topik ni dan bagi kat member yang kerja at TELEKOM Malaysia. Aku rasa lagi fair kalau kita tanya 'tuan punya badan' ye tak?
TM byk kena buat sosial work compare to other telco .
tpt yg jauh ceruk rantau pun TM kena cover gak tp telco lain buat pekak je. Lagipun bisnes kabel mmg kos tinggi & lambat.
Thanks guys..to whoever that contribute. Well just that i am thinking of suggeting something in order to improvise their performance from within the company itself..
IMHO, the key for improvement is COMPETITION, witohut it, jangan kata TM, mana2 company pun hancur and lembap. Utk fixed line service mungkin x banyak improvement, tapi utk mobile tengok apa mcm, 3 company berentap pun, dah berapa banyak customer yg untung, tu yg best, pastu service pun keep on improving. tapi kiter bole tengok celcom agak slow, since pada aku deir ader parent company yg kukuh, and as for maxis and digi have to strive harder.
utk bank...no komen, coz walaupun belambak-lambak competitor, tapi masih fail, tak tau nak kata, but mungkin due to undang2 kiter yg pro to orgaonization than consumer. so pepehal consumer kena la bayar charges sana sini

Korang pernah tak yg dpt service Streamyx or Dial Up yg ntah ape2??...Lepas tu call org TMnet...."buat report"..la konon...sampai dah sedozen kali.Tapi takde feed back ape2 pun.Service Streamyxz tak dpt....tapi bile time bg BILL....service bagus pulak...tiap2 bulan mesti dpt punye!..Hampeh!!.....
tak jugak..sebab market kecik..kalau banyak sgt telco nanti untung pun kecik nanti servis pun tak ok sebab untung sikit....cover cost suma tak bebaloi..nanti lagi teruk adelah...
..contoh yang nyata skang korang tgk industri pertahanan negara cukup la.......company punya banyak tapi market sekor jer....
itu betul la, tengok industri la jugak, industri yg market x besar mmg le payah, tapi in telecommunication industry, market mmg gerenti ader, sume org pakai apa, aku rasa no hal, lagi banyak masuk lagi bagus la, mcm dulu, ader makro je, pastu carefoure and giant sume ader, skrg tesco pun ader, baru la compete, sayang la wal-mart x dpt masuk aritu.
tak leh compare mass market yg ROI and investment berbeza. Telecommunication ni, investment utk siapkan satu network yg simple je pun, dah makan billion ...
so, ROI, boleh bayangla berapa belas tahun baru dpt ...
by the way, just tengok balik la sejarah telecommunication mobile di Malaysia ni .. pada zaman ada ADAM 017, Maxis 012, Emartel 013, Mobikom 018, Celcom 013, Digi 016 dan juga ATUR 011 ...

okay..mostly comment that we receive about tm is about their poor service. So the provider behind this services is the employee rite..
So nape staff tm buat kije mcm nak tak nak aje..Ape benefits still tak cukup lagi ke. Or is it because they resist to change.
Tak nak accept watever changes yang is being implement. So ceo dia dok khabarkan all the gempak2 news to everyone, but the people inside tm sendiri mcm tak bersemangat je nak live to the expectation.

kerja sy memang terlibat dgn semua Telco yg ada kat Malaysia ini...dp Line yg harganya RM 60.00 sehingga lahh yg harga >rm1million...
TM ...product banyak...boleh jual ...Whosales/retail okey...tapi emo x yah nk cerita sensitif yg amat...customer pun blh kena maki ( sebab depa tahu kita x ada pilihan terpakasa ambil dgn TM ituu yg depa berani tuu)...Marketing...banyak yg pandai cakap tapi x tahu apa yg dikatakanya...bila tanya bab teknikal mula pening...promosi ...banyak yg menarik...tapi kadang2 lebih dp "indah kahbar dp rupa" tgk lahh TM Point...dlm iklan lain bila pi sana...respon time slow...( tapi jauh lebih baik dp Kedai Telekom dulu ... ) ...customer service...kalau anda betul2 "baik" dgn org teknikal senang lahh urusan kerja nk buat kalu tak susah nak cakap macam mana...dgn TM nie ...banyak yg pelanggan yg terpaksa jga dia org ..bukan nya dia org..
daripada segi lain kemudahan untuk memudahkan perlu dipertingkatkan ..tgk lahh website nya ...apa sangat yg boleh membantu pengguna ...
walauapa pun syabas kepada Dato Wahid sebab banyak membuat perubahan dan menyedarkan ramai orang yg dah lama dok "TIDOR LENA" di TM tuu...supaya bangun dan berkerja...cuma sekarang perlukan "ROTAN" untuk menyedarkan sesetengahnya yang masih dibuai "kenagan-kenangan" silam ....
