Short-Nosed Sea Snake
The short-nosed sea snake is a small, slender fully aquatic snake with a small head and pointed snout. Its a critically endangered species of venomous sea snake whose habitat is mostly in a small area of the northwest coast of Australia. The snake has only ever been found in two reefs, the Ashmore reef and Hibernia reef . It prefers sandy areas with sparse coral and can live up to 10 years in the wild. The reason why these snakes numbers declined is a complete mystery. The last confirmed sighting of the snake was in December 2015.
Spiny Bush Viper
Spiny bush vipers are part of class Reptilia and are native to central Africa. They can be found in tropical regions like rainforests. They are small reptiles, only growing up to 29 inches for males and 23 inches for females. Their body is covered with green or brown keel scaled, which makes them have a kind of the appearance of the bristles. They mostly hunt in the trees, but sometimes also hunt mammals on the ground.These snakes are rarely seen in the wild because they inhabit regions far from where humans live.
