ONE for all and all for ONE! LINDSAY LOHAN and a handful of concerned celebrities are taking a stand against AIDS and extreme poverty, lending their visages to the launch of the newest T-shirt from ONE, The Campaign to Make Poverty History ? and ET is behind the scenes at the star-studded photo shoot!
The new ONE T-shirt, available Sept. 11 only at Nordstrom, is made in Lesotho of 100% African cotton and will help consumers bring trade to an area of extremely high unemployment. Lesotho is one of the poorest countries in the world; it has one of the highest AIDS rates in the world, with 29% of the population infected. Every T-short sold donates $10 to the Apparel Lesotho Alliance to Fight AIDS (ALAFA) fund, which provides life-saving prevention and medicines to factory workers and their families in the region.
The new print campaign was shot by supermodel and photographer HELENA CHRISTENSEN and also includes the help of such stars as hot couple HEATH LEDGER and MICHELLE WILLIAMS, JIMMY FALLON, NAOMI WATTS, KATE BOSWORTH, ROSARIO DAWSON, DJIMON HOUNSOU, PETER SARSGAARD and GARY OLDMAN.
EDUN, the socially conscious clothing brand created by New York clothing designer ROGAN GREGORY, ALI HEWSON and ONE anchor BONO, is collaborating with the U2 frontman? charity organization to launch the new T-shirt.
ONE? mission is to rally Americans to fight the emergency of global AIDS and extreme poverty. Over 1 billion people today live on less than a dollar a day, and a child dies every three seconds due to AIDS and extreme poverty. ONE recruits supporters from all walks of life, hoping to rally more support and awareness of the epidemic problem.

Lindsay is about to join the club that includes SJP, J Lo, Britney and the Beckhams. She's planning to launch her own perfume with Coty which also makes SJPs Lovely. LL told WWD that she is in the beginning stages of creating her scent, but Coty refuses to confirm or deny this story.

William H. Macy wants to see Lohan get her ass kicked
 
Showing up late to work is Not Cool, Lohan. Not Cool At All. When William H. Macy, who seems like a pretty nice guy, is taking time to call you an a-hole, chances are, you're kind of an a-hole. Macy, who worked with Lindsay on the upcoming film Bobby, says that her tardiness was not limited to the Georgia Rule set. People reports:
"I think what an actor has to realize (is that) when you show up an hour late, 150 people have been scrambling to cover for you," Macy told reporters Thursday. "There is not an apology big enough in the world to have to make 150 people scramble. It's nothing but disrespect. And Lindsay Lohan is not the only one. A lot of actors show up late as if they're God's gift to the film. It's inexcusable, and they should have their asses kicked."
When asked about Lohan's work on Bobby, Macy paused and said, "She was pretty late."
He added, "I worry about these young kids ? 15, 18, 20 years old ? who in the span of one year become millionaires and powerhouses. It's too much power for a kid that age to handle."
Macy, who has starred in films including Fargo and The Cooler, also defended his Magnolia costar Tom Cruise ? recently bashed for his own behavior ? as "not late."
Lohan responded that a) she is God's gift to not 'the' film but film in general, and b) 150 people? Get back to her when he's got 150 people waiting outside his bedroom window every morning--she is not content unless she is disrupting the lives of at least three times that number. |

Is Lindsay one step closer to landing a modeling gig at Chanel? She has tried in the past but things just didn't work out. However, designer Karl Lagerfeld holds a special place for LL so maybe her dream will come true someday soon. He recently told Harper? Lindsay Lohan found the perfect way to unwind from her hectic film career when she popped into a beauty salon for some pampering on Monday. Reclining in her seat, the Mean Girls actress decided she'd have the full works - manicure, pedicure and neck massage.
When the therapists stopped buzzing around her the starlet inspected her nails, now painted brilliant scarlet, and seemed delighted with the finished results. And the treatment obviously had the desired effect as she left the West Hollywood parlour looking like a woman refreshed.
Currently one of Hollywood's hottest properties, Lindsay has no fewer than five productions set to hit cinemas in the next year. Top of the list is Bobby, about the assassination of Robert F Kennedy, in which she stars opposite Anthony Hopkins. Meanwhile the young actress also appears in Georgia Rule with Jane Fonda and Felicity Huffman, and she'll take on a role in 2007 romantic comedy Speechless. |
